The herbicide “Nopasaran” belongs to the last category, so it is used only in fields with winter and spring rape. The composition of the post-emergence herbicide preparation “Nopasaran” includes two active substances. This is metazachlor in a concentration of 375 grams per liter of chemical, and imazamox in an amount of 25 grams per liter of product. The effectiveness of the herbicide on weeds is due to the different effects of two active substances on their growth and development.
The chemical is marketed in the form of a suspension concentrate, which is packaged in 10-liter plastic canisters. The manufacturer of the post-emergence herbicide is BASF, which has a well-established reputation in the market for crop protection products. You can purchase the herbicide either in a specialized store or by ordering online.
Scope and purpose
The herbicide is used by farmers to destroy cereal and dicotyledonous annual and perennial weeds in winter and spring rapeseed crops. However, before purchasing a chemical, please note that its use is only permitted in the CLEARFIELD production system. This system is a unique combination of the herbicide Nopasaran and high-yielding rapeseed hybrids that demonstrate resistance to this chemical. The stability of such hybrid varieties of crops was obtained using the traditional breeding method, without the use of genetic engineering achievements.
Just one application of a chemical during the growing season allows you to deal not only with already sprouted weeds, but also to provide an impenetrable herbicide screen on the ground, through which new waves of harmful vegetation cannot grow. The effectiveness of the post-emergence herbicide is noted even on rocky soils and in unfavorable weather conditions.

Treatment of fields from weeds is carried out early in the morning or in the evening, after sunset, at a minimum wind speed, making sure that drops of the solution do not fall on neighboring plantings.
Safety precautions when working with the product
The instructions for use indicate that care must be taken when working with the herbicide. The treatment is carried out after wearing protective clothing. It is also recommended to use a respirator to prevent chemical vapors from entering the respiratory tract.
At the end of spraying, the farmer should take a shower and wash all clothes. If liquid accidentally gets on mucous surfaces or in the eyes, rinse them with plenty of water and contact a medical facility.
Herbicide compatibility
The manufacturer's instructions indicate that Nopasaran is not recommended for use in tank mixtures with other chemicals.
How to store it correctly
According to safety regulations, the chemical must be stored in a separate utility room, which is locked with a key, at minimum humidity and a temperature that does not exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
Substitutes
There is no complete analogue of the active substance of the herbicide “Nopasaran”. If necessary, you can replace the drug with chemicals such as Roundup or Agent.
