Almost every waste product of bees can be considered a biologically active substance. However, it must be borne in mind that bee poop is mistakenly attributed to medicinal qualities. Other waste products have healing properties: wax, death, beebread, propolis. For treatment, products are used both in pure form and in the form of tinctures, decoctions, and ointments.
Production process
During the cold period (5-7 months), droppings accumulate in the insects' rectum, since the bees do not fly out of the hive. The intestines are emptied during the first cleansing flight after wintering.Insect feces are beekeeping waste and are not used by beekeepers for any purpose.
Appearance of the vital activity results of bees
The opinion that bee droppings are a processed product with beneficial or medicinal qualities is considered erroneous. Excrement is fecal matter that accumulates in the intestines and does not rot due to the enzyme catalase. Medicinal qualities are manifested in other waste products of insects.
Propolis is a waxy substance (thanks to the secretion of the jaw glands, insects process the resins of plants, branches and leaves of trees). Podmor - dead bodies of bees and their parts (small quantities also contain bee venom, propolis, wax).
Medicinal properties
Podmor has beneficial and healing qualities. The amazing properties are explained by the rich composition of the product:
- bee venom prevents the growth of tumors, stops inflammatory processes, and has a wound-healing effect;
- fat strengthens the immune system, prevents the development of diseases of the cardiovascular system, promotes tissue regeneration;
- chitinous cover improves and stimulates the functioning of the liver, kidneys, intestines, reduces cholesterol levels, and has a bactericidal effect.
The bodies of dead bees are a source of enzymes, vitamins, amino acids, dietary fiber, and organic acids.
How to use
For the prevention and treatment of diseases, various products are used, created on the basis of deadwood, wax, propolis with the addition of excipients.
Alcohol tinctures are used internally. Treatment regimens are selected individually (depending on the stage of the disease and the person’s physical condition).For external use, medicines based on death, wax, and honey are suitable.
Medicines
The preparations are prepared for internal and external use.
Alcohol tincture
The drug is most often prepared on the basis of 40% alcohol/vodka (a tablespoon of the substance is poured into 200 ml of liquid). Used to treat various diseases:
- obesity - drink 1 tbsp 15 minutes before meals. l. tincture diluted with water (three times a day). Course of treatment: take the tincture for a month, take a break for two months;
- for giardiasis, drink 25 drops of tincture three times a day after meals. The duration of treatment is a month.
To treat fibroids, drink 1 tbsp twice a day. l. drug. Use the tincture daily until recovery.
Water decoction
A worthy alternative to an alcohol solution is an aqueous decoction of dead fruit, which is not difficult to prepare.
- A tablespoon of the substance is poured into a glass of water.
- The mixture is placed on the fire, brought to a boil and boiled for 25-30 minutes.
- The cooled broth is filtered and stored for no more than a week in a closed container in a cool, dark place.
The product is effective for the treatment of giardiasis. You can also drink the decoction periodically for general strengthening purposes.
Ointment
For external medicinal use, ointment is used. To prepare the product, grind 1 tbsp. a spoonful of dry matter and 100 g of Vaseline, wax or olive oil. The ointment exhibits antibacterial and antiviral properties.
When treating joint pain, varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, a heated portion of the ointment is gently rubbed into the sore spot. It is recommended to store the product in the refrigerator in a tightly closed container.
Cryopowder
Dry death treatment is popular. To prepare a healing drug, grind a tablespoon of dead fruit and honey. The product is dried and ground into powder. For medicinal purposes, the drug is taken two to three times a day, 1-2 teaspoons, washed down with water. The drug helps remove toxins and waste from the body, and helps in the fight against excess cholesterol.
Beekeeping products are in demand both in folk and official medicine. Not only honey, but also “by-products” of insect activity exhibit unique healing qualities.
