Mineral and organic fertilizers help farmers and summer residents grow and harvest rich harvests of vegetables, grains and fruit crops. The need for a specific nutrient can be determined by the appearance of the plant. There are complex fertilizers with a balanced composition on sale. Hakafos, a fertilizer from a German manufacturer, has 4 varieties that differ from each other in the concentration of nutrients.
Composition and release form of the complex microfertilizer "Hakafos"
Hakafos is a water-soluble complex fertilizer produced by the German company COMPO. It contains microelements chelated by the EDTA type, which means that the chelating element is ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
The complex fertilizer intended for foliar feeding comes on sale in the form of a powder, which is packaged in 20 gram bags. There are 4 types of mineral supplements with different compositions of useful components:
- "Hakafos" 20-20-20 with a balanced composition;
- "Hakafos" 13-40-13 with a high phosphorus content;
- "Hakafos" 3-15-36 with a high potassium content;
- "Hakafos" 20-5-10 with a high nitrogen content.
In addition to the main nutrients, the preparation contains sulfur, iron, manganese, copper, zinc and molybdenum. All types of fertilizer do not contain chlorine, so it is safe for cultivated plants.
Application area
The complex fertilizer "Hakafos" is intended for feeding cultivated plants growing on poor soils using the foliar method (by leaf). The drug is used at the stage of active growth of green mass twice with an interval of 10 days. The chemical is used to feed cultivated plants such as currants, strawberries, bell peppers, tomatoes, grapes, carrots, potatoes and many others.
The advantages of the drug include the following:
- speed of dissolution in water when preparing the working solution;
- Possibility of use in tank mixtures with other chemicals;
- a wide range of crops for which fertilizer can be used;
- increase in plant productivity after using the drug;
- high quality fertilizer and balanced composition;
- several types of fertilizer, which allows you to choose an option to suit your needs;
- unlimited shelf life of fertilizing;
- increasing the resistance of plants to adverse weather conditions after applying fertilizer;
- increased availability of microelements due to chelated form.
Instructions for using fertilizer
The chemical preparation “Hakafos” is used 2-3 times during the growing season of plants, taking a break between treatments of 7 to 10 days. To prepare the working fluid, the contents of one sachet are dissolved in 10 liters of settled water and mixed thoroughly for 10 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. This amount of working solution is enough to treat one hundred square meters of plantings.
Precautionary measures
When working with complex mineral fertilizer, adhere to safety rules. Use protective clothing, gloves and a mask or respirator to prevent the chemical from entering the respiratory tract.
After all work with the drug is completed, clothes must be washed and showered. If the chemical gets into your eyes or skin, wash it off with plenty of water and go to a medical facility, taking the fertilizer label with you. If the drug is swallowed, drink activated carbon at the rate of 1 tablet per 10 kg of person’s weight and visit the hospital.
Compatibility
Fertilizer from a German manufacturer is approved for use with most chemicals. Before use, it is worth conducting a chemical compatibility test by mixing a small amount of each drug.If white flakes appear in the solution or a precipitate forms, do not use it together.
Terms and conditions of storage
According to the manufacturer's instructions, the shelf life of the fertilizer is unlimited. However, to ensure that the fertilizer does not lose its working qualities, it is important to provide it with comfortable storage conditions. The utility room where the product will be located must be dark and dry. Recommended temperature is from 5 to 35 degrees Celsius. It is also worth limiting access to the chemical to children and pets to prevent poisoning.
Are there any analogues?
The German drug "Hakafos" does not have complete analogues on the domestic market. If necessary, replace it with any complex mineral fertilizer.
