Composition and release form
This pesticide is produced in the form of a microemulsion, which contains 3 active components at once. In 1 liter of the drug there is the following amount of active ingredients:
- 100 grams of prochloraz;
- 25 grams of imazalil;
- 15 grams of tebuconazole.
The product is produced in packages with a capacity of 5 and 10 liters. The substance belongs to the chemical classes of imidazoles and triazoles.

The mechanism of action of the product is related to its combined composition. The drug contains 3 active components at once. They have a pronounced synergistic effect and mutually complement each other. Thanks to this, the product is more effective. It successfully copes with seed and soil infections that affect plants at the initial stages of development.
The action of Polaris is due to its composition:
- Prochloraz belongs to the imidazoles category. It is characterized by local-systemic action. The substance can penetrate shallowly into the structure of the seeds and provide disinfection of grains from fungi that enter the aleurone layer and shell.
- Imazalil has local-systemic properties and provides protection to the root system. The effect of this substance is based on suppressing the production of ergosterol, which affects the permeability of pathogen cell membranes.
- Tebuconazole is characterized by a systemic translocation effect and reliably protects sprouts. The effect of this component is based on the process of suppressing sterol synthesis by pathogens, which provokes membrane damage and cessation of reproduction. As a result, the pathogens die.
The biological effect of the drug lasts quite a long time - from the stage of seed germination to the stage of emergence into the tube and the formation of a flag leaf on cereals. Thanks to its systemic effect, the drug helps cope with different types of seminal infections. It also successfully destroys many pathogens that infect crops in the later stages of the growing season.
