Herbicides are agrochemical preparations intended to control weeds in agricultural areas. The use of products strictly according to the manufacturer’s instructions does not harm the crops, increases the yield and quality of the product, and reduces the cost of processing crops. Herbicide "Betaren Super" is used to destroy annual dicotyledonous weeds in fodder and sugar beet crops.
Composition and dosage form
The product is a selective herbicide.Available in the form of a concentrated oil emulsion. Contains:
- desmedipham - 21 grams/liter;
- phenmedipham - 63 grams/liter;
- ethofumisate - 126 grams/liter.
Belongs to the chemical class phenylcarbamates + other substances.
According to the method of penetration, it is a contact and systemic pesticide. It is supplied to retail chains in polyethylene canisters with a capacity of 5 and 10 liters. The packaging is supplied with a label on which information about the name of the drug, its composition, purpose and rules of use is required. Produced by JSC Shchelkovo Agrokhim.
Mechanism and spectrum of action
"Betaren Super" is a post-emergence herbicide that destroys dicotyledonous weeds in fields. Active against:
- white mari;
- various types of highlanders;
- shiritsy;
- tenacious bedstraw;
- field yarutki;
- average chickweed;
- quinoa;
- black nightshade and many other plant pests.
Destroys weedy cereals (green bristle grass, chicken millet) on fodder and sugar beet crops. "Betaren Super" has a number of advantages:
- has increased efficiency due to the preparative form of the drug (the oil emulsion penetrates faster to parts of the weed and begins to act);
- suppresses the development of weeds at an early stage;
- used in tank mixtures;
- does not have a phytotoxic effect on the crop.
The drug is in a finely dispersed state, which ensures the homogeneity of the mixture and improves the adsorption of the product by parts of the weed.
Instructions for use
Beet crops are treated with a working solution of the drug. It is prepared before use. Storing the working fluid for more than a day reduces efficiency.
Important: the concentration recommended by the manufacturer must not be exceeded. To prepare, 1/3 of the estimated amount of water is placed in a container, with the mixer turned on, the drug concentrate is added and, continuing to stir, the remaining water is poured in.

Work in the fields can continue 3 days after spraying the crops. Processing is carried out in dry, windless weather.
Safety precautions when working with Betaren Super
The product is highly toxic, classified as hazard class 2 for humans and hazard class 3 for bees. Before use (3-5 days in advance), beekeepers should be notified to adjust the timing of insect flight. It is not used in the water protection zone of reservoirs; the areas are not processed using the aviation method.
All actions related to the preparation of the working solution and treatment of crops are carried out by personnel who have undergone safety training when working with herbicides. Employees are provided with protective suits, respirators, safety glasses, rubber gloves and shoes.
Smoking and eating during work are prohibited. In case of accidental poisoning, the victim must be transported to a medical facility. Doctors are informed of the name and composition of the drug.
Compatibility
The product can be used in tank mixtures. Before use, drugs must be checked for physical and chemical compatibility.
Expiration date and storage rules
Herbicides are kept tightly closed in undamaged original packaging. They are stored in a warehouse for agrochemicals. The room must be dry and equipped with ventilation. The period of use of the product is 2 years.
Strangers, children, and pets are not allowed into the warehouse. The premises are located away from residential buildings and buildings for keeping farm animals.
