Principle of operation
Fluroxypyr acts as an auxin and blocks the work of growth hormones in weed cells. It causes damage characteristic of the auxin group of substances in weed species - yellowing and browning, the leaves of weeds curl and then dry out. The active substance is not aggressive towards the environment, accumulates in the soil, in plants, and quickly disintegrates in the ground under the influence of bacteria, therefore it does not have a toxic effect on plants either during or after treatment.
Application area
"Starane Premium" is used for spraying wheat and barley crops against 1-year and perennial weeds, including malicious ones, such as: bedstraw, bindweed, bindweed, bitterweed, forget-me-nots, smokeweed, shepherd's purse, chamomile, field vetch, wild sorrel, chicken glasses, nettle, dandelion, field grass.
Consumption rate and use of the drug
"Starane Premium" sprays cereals 2 times - the first time in the tillering phase, when the weeds are in the early stages of growth. Winter crops are sprayed in the spring. The rate of herbicide application during the first treatment is 0.3-0.5 liters per hectare. You need to use 200-300 liters of solution per hectare.
Wheat and barley are sprayed a second time at the end of booting stage, when field bindweed shoots appear. The application rate is 0.5 liters per hectare, the consumption is the same. The waiting period is 50 days.
The drug is characterized by a high speed of action, systemic activity, quickly penetrates the tissues of weeds and blocks their vital functions. Safety precautions when working with the product
"Starane Premium" refers to products with class 3 danger for people and bees. To ensure safety, you should wear protective clothing before work, a respirator and plastic goggles on your face, and rubber gloves on your hands. All products protect the mucous membranes and skin from penetration of the drug inside if the solution gets on them.
After finishing work, you should wash your hands and face with soap; if liquid gets on your skin, wipe these areas with a cotton swab, and then rinse off the remaining product with water.
