Zabrusov is the honey that flows out first after the seals are cut from the honeycomb. It is located immediately under the wax cap and does not go through the pumping stage. It contains additional inclusions and is considered the most valuable. It is characterized by a wide range of medicinal properties, rich vitamin and mineral composition, and high organoleptic properties. But the bee product has contraindications, neglect of which will cause serious harm to health.
What kind of honey is called zabrusny?
Zabrusny honey and zabrus are different things, and this should be mentioned initially. You need to be able to see the difference between them, which is as follows:
- the bar is a wax cap, the thickness of which is no more than 1-2 millimeters;
- strand honey is a beekeeping product that is located immediately under the wax seal in each comb.
To get the maximum amount of useful and tasty substance, after sealing the honeycombs, beekeepers leave the wax seals in a vertical position for some time. Main characteristics of zabrus honey:
- very sweet taste;
- intense honey aroma;
- light yellow or brown;
- heterogeneous consistency, in which particles of other beekeeping products are present.
The crystallization stage of honey begins approximately 2 weeks after it is collected, but can take up to a year.
Composition and calorie content
Honey collected from bark cannot be considered a separate variety of bee product. Rather, it is a useful residual substance that is formed as a result of the vital activity of bees. Its composition is very rich - both physical and chemical. If you examine and taste the mass, you can feel the presence of additional particles in it:
- propolis;
- wax;
- beebread;
- pollen.
If we talk about the chemical formula of the product, then it is formed:
- phytohormones;
- sugars (fructose, sucrose, glucose, maltose, isomaltose and other elements);
- enzymes;
- amino acids;
- sodium;
- potassium;
- calcium;
- magnesium;
- phosphorus;
- selenium;
- gray;
- zinc;
- boron;
- manganese;
- fluorine;
- iron;
- copper;
- chrome.
The product contains vitamins:
- retinol;
- thiamine;
- riboflavin;
- vitamin B3;
- pantothenic acid;
- pyridoxine;
- ascorbic acid;
- tocopherol;
- vitamins H, K;
- folic acid.
Honey is rich in organic acids, flavonoids, alkaloids, natural aromatic elements and phytoncides. It is difficult to name the exact caloric content of sweets, since it depends on which honey plant pollen predominates in the composition.
