"Bazagran" is a popular herbicide among gardeners, plant growers and farmers. The main advantages of the product include:

herbicide Bazagran

"Bazagran" belongs to the class of post-emergence herbicides. It has a pronounced contact effect and affects weeds mainly through leaf blades.

The herbicide is used to destroy dicotyledonous annual weeds.

Mechanism of action

When Bazagran gets on the leaves of plants, it stops the process of photosynthesis and the photosynthetic movement of electrons is blocked. The leaves stop “breathing”, dry out, fall off, and within 5 days the weed dies. In this case, no damage is caused to cultivated grasses. The active substance is dangerous only for dicotyledonous annual weeds.

Consumption rate

The consumption of the drug depends on the type of cultivated grass that needs to be protected from weeds. Let's consider the average consumption rates of Bazagran:

  • For cereals: 0.2 milliliters per 1 square meter;
  • Legumes: 0.3 milliliters per 1 square meter;
  • Linen: 0.35 milliliters per 1 square meter.
