Instructions for use of the herbicide Bazagran and mechanism of action

The well-known selective herbicide “Bazagran” was developed in Russia to kill weeds in fields of cereals and legumes; according to the instructions for use, it can be used in areas with underseeding. “Bazagran” is not phytotoxic and destroys most types of weeds. Mechanism of action

When Bazagran gets on the leaves of plants, it stops the process of photosynthesis and the photosynthetic movement of electrons is blocked. The active substance is dangerous only for dicotyledonous annual weeds.

Consumption rate

The consumption of the drug depends on the type of cultivated grass that needs to be protected from weeds. Let's consider the average consumption rates of Bazagran:

• For cereals: 0.2 milliliters per 1 square meter;
• Legumes: 0.3 milliliters per 1 square meter;
• Linen: 0.35 milliliters per 1 square meter.

Treatments are carried out once per season. The duration of protection is 60 days.

Important: Treatment with “Bazagran” can be carried out only after the main herbs have emerged. Whether the weeds have sprouted or not does not matter, and the cultivated vegetation should not cover the weeds.

The working mixture is used generously; it is not recommended to save the product; it is important to thoroughly wet the leaves of weeds.

How to prepare a working solution?

The basic rule when preparing a working solution is to mix the drug with water no earlier than one hour before starting treatment. Diluted Bazagran cannot be stored for a long time.

The container is filled with liquid by about a third, the required amount of “Bazagran” is added according to the instructions, depending on the type of main crop. Next, the mixture is shaken. The drug is toxic; spraying is carried out in a respirator and gloves.

It is recommended to use backpack or ground boom sprayers.

How to use the herbicide "Bazagran"?

“Bazagran” is applied to weeds by spraying. The active substance destroys weeds through leaf blades, blocking the process of photosynthesis.

Spraying is recommended to be carried out in good warm weather at an ambient temperature of at least +20 ⁰C, the probability of precipitation is minimal. The procedure will have to be repeated if rain begins within 4 hours after treatment.

Safety regulations

The herbicide is toxic; spraying is carried out using a respirator and gloves. It is also recommended to protect your hair and wear a protective suit.

Do not spray Bazagran in windy weather. After treatment, no type of field work is carried out on the territory for two weeks. It is prohibited to use the herbicide near bodies of water and to throw the used container into rivers and lakes.

Toxicity

The drug belongs to the third class of safety for humans and bees (low-hazard). It is prohibited to use the herbicide near water bodies (the limiting barrier is 500 meters from the water body zone). Air handling is permitted.

Despite the relative safety of the product, treatment is carried out in a respirator, gloves and a protective suit; allergic reactions to the drug cannot be ruled out.

Compatibility with other security products

"Bazagran" can be effectively used in combined solutions, and their effect is enhanced. The best herbicide companions are: “Pulsar 40”, “Pivot”.

Storage periods and rules

The official shelf life of the drug in original packaging is 2 years. The herbicide should not be stored mixed with water. The storage location is selected in a special room designed to contain pesticides at temperatures from -10 ⁰From to +25 ⁰WITH.
