Composition, purpose and release form of the fungicide Derozal
The main active ingredient of Derosal fungicide is cabredazim. It is used to prevent and treat diseases:
- fungus;
- rot;
- phomosa;
- powdery mildew;
- spotting.
The fungicide is available in the form of a concentrate suspension in containers of 1 liter. The cost is 1100 rubles.
How does the drug work?
When processing a plant, the reproductive ability of pathogens slows down, which blocks the possibility of dividing the kernel. The plant absorbs the active element of the fungicide through the root system, and the product spreads upward through the channels.
The substance begins to act 2-4 hours after use. This indicator also depends on the size and age of the plant.
This product is used not only for prevention, but also for the treatment of various crops from the most common diseases. After absorption, the solution remains in the soil for another 5 months, and the effective effect lasts for several weeks and depends on weather conditions.
Advantages and disadvantages
Fungicide Derozal has a number of advantages:
- rapid activation of the drug (the main substance is absorbed 3 hours after use);
- good compatibility with other agrochemicals;
- long period of plant protection from various diseases (1 month with moderate rainfall);
- relative safety without harm to the environment;
- complete absence of phototoxicity;
- an extensive list of plants affected by Derosal.
The drug also has disadvantages:
- the possibility of resistance formation;
- incompatibility with most alkaline agrochemicals;
- dependence on weather conditions (the more precipitation, the less time the fungicide protects the plant).
Consumption rates for different plants
For each type of crop, different standards for the use of the substance are used:
- sunflower - 0.5 liters per 1 hectare, in case of powdery mildew, rot or fomoz;
- wheat – 0.5 liters for 1 hectare of crop, used for powdery mildew;
- barley – 0.5 liters per 1 hectare, prevention of powdery mildew;
- sugar beet – 0.3 liters per 1 hectare, used for cercospora and powdery mildew;
- rye – 0.4 liters per 1 hectare of crop, used for the treatment and prevention of powdery mildew.
In addition to treating plants, using the fungicide Derosal, you can carry out prevention of seeds.
How to prepare a working solution?
The substance is used in its pure form to treat plants. In case of seed prevention, a solution is prepared in the proportions of 1 liter of Derosal per 10 liters of water.
How to use the product correctly?
For the best effect, it is recommended to carry out fine-drop spraying of plants using special field units. When watering lightly, you should first shake the container with the substance. After treatment, no more than 2-4 hours should pass to activate the effect of the drug.
Safety precautions when working with fungicide
When using this type of fungicide, personal protective equipment (gloves, respirator, goggles) should be worn. It is also necessary to prevent contact of the product with human skin, mucous membranes and respiratory tract. If you come into contact with the solution, thoroughly clean the skin, and if it gets into the mouth, rinse and go to the hospital.
If your condition suddenly worsens, you should call an ambulance.
The degree of toxicity of the drug
The fungicide Derosal contains organic substances, and the degree of toxicity of the solution is 3 points according to the WHO classification.
Compatibility with other tools
Derosal is well compatible with other liquid pesticides and fertilizers, the only exception being alkaline chemical solutions. Most often, the substance is used with nitrogen fertilizers, but sometimes, due to a significant increase in temperature, burns in the form of spots may occur on the treated plants.
Terms and rules for storing fungicide
The product should be stored in a closed, dry and dimly lit room at a temperature of -5-30 °C. The substance is valid for 3 years from the date of production. The solution must be used on the day it is made.
