The fungicide is produced by Syngenta LLC in the form of an emulsion concentrate in 5 liter canisters. The composition contains 3 active substances: propiconazole in the amount of 208.33 g per 1 l, benzovindiflupyr in the amount of 83.33 g per 1 l and cyproconazole in the amount of 66.67 g per 1 l. According to the instructions, "Elatus Ria" is a systemic contact fungicide with protective and healing effects.
How does the product work and what is it used for?
Benzovindiflupyr accumulates in the waxy layer of leaves, from where it is evenly distributed throughout the cells, providing plants with protection from diseases of fungal origin throughout the growing season. It can be used as a prophylactic before infection and as a therapeutic agent after it. The duration of protection is 5-6 weeks, it depends on the degree of infection and the development of the disease.
The drug has a stimulating effect on photosynthetic processes, lengthens the period of outflow of carbohydrates from grain leaves into the ear, increases the yield and quality of grain. It is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and moisture (it is not washed off by rain, which falls an hour after spraying). Recommended for use at temperatures between 12-25°C.
When using "Elatus Ria" at recommended rates, the drug does not have a toxic effect on wheat and barley. Pathogens do not become accustomed to the product.
Consumption rate and application
Product dosage – 0.4-0.6 l per ha, consumption – 200 l per ha.Spraying is carried out when signs of disease are detected throughout the entire grain growing season. Safety precautions when working with fungicide
"Elatus Ria" is considered a moderately dangerous drug in terms of toxicity (class 3 for humans and bees). It is prohibited to use the product in areas of water bodies, to spray it by air, or to use it on farms. A working solution of the fungicide must be prepared before use. To do this, first shake the canister, mixing the contents in it, then measure the volume required for 1 refill of the sprayer. Fill the sprayer container halfway with water, pour in the concentrate and mix. Then add water to the top and stir again. Stir the solution while working so that it is homogeneous.
While working, wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, goggles and a respirator. Protective means help to minimize contact of skin and mucous membranes with the fungicide and avoid irritating or toxic effects.
After finishing work, you need to wash your hands and face with soap and water, rinse off the solution from the skin if it gets on parts of the body, in the eyes, nose or mouth. The fungicide can be stored for 3 years from the date of manufacture, in the original packaging with the lid closed. Storage conditions must be observed: keep the drug in a dry, ventilated, darkened room, next to other agricultural chemicals. Do not store food, animal feed, medicines or household chemicals nearby. After the expiration date, do not use the drug, do not store the solution for more than 1 day after preparation, because it loses its properties.
