Thanks to this, the growth of weeds stops and they gradually die. At first, the foliage and stems become colorless and then die completely. This occurs because the chemical interferes with carotenoid production.

The effectiveness of the drug will be higher with high soil moisture content. The active substance penetrates along with water into plant tissues, entering through the root system. When combined with water, isoxaflutole forms diketonitrile, which helps destroy weeds.

The chemical has a long-lasting protective effect.The protection period after treatment is up to 2.5 months. During this time, old weeds die after treatment, and new ones do not begin to grow. In 2.5 months, agricultural crops have time to grow, and if weeds begin to appear, then the grown plants are no longer afraid of them.
