Composition and mechanism of action
The active substance of this fungicidal agent is chlorothalonil, that is, chlorothalonil (content in the preparation is 12.5%). This component of the chloronitrile class fights mold and powdery mildew. The substance also has acaricidal and bactericidal properties.
The drug is available in the form of a suspension concentrate and before use is diluted with water in the dosage specified in the instructions. The fungicidal agent affects fungi only through direct contact.

Broad Spectrum is used to combat anthracnose, leaf rot, rust, downy and powdery mildew, spotting, late blight, and leaf curl. The protection period for plants treated with this fungicide is 7-14 days.

The fungicide is diluted with water on the day of plant treatment. The solution is irrigated on both sides of the leaves and the fruits are completely sprayed. This remedy acts on fungi only by direct contact with them. It is important to irrigate all parts of the plant with a fungicidal solution, leaving no untreated areas.
In case of severe fungal diseases or in case of frequent rains, the interval between treatments can be 7 days.
It is not recommended to irrigate the garden in hot or rainy weather. It is forbidden to spray wilting plants. Vegetables, fruits, leaves, and tops treated with fungicide should not be given to animals. Plants are treated in dry (not rainy) and windless weather. Spray the crops using a special sprayer with a fine spray. The last treatment is carried out 20 days before harvest. It is forbidden to spray crops more than 3 times per season. It is forbidden to store or pour the remaining solution into water bodies. The fungicidal agent is not allowed to be sprayed during the active summer of bees. The drug must be used within 3 years from the date of manufacture. It is prohibited to store Broad Spectrum together with food products.
