The modern generation fungicide "Strobi" acts on a large number of pathogenic microorganisms that attack fruit, vegetable, and flower crops. It is used for the treatment and prevention of illnesses at any stage of infection, for hardening seed material before sowing in the ground. For the best results in treatment, the substance must be used in certain proportions and combined with other agrochemicals.

Composition, release form and properties of the product
“Strobi” is a systemic fungicide, belongs to the strobilurins, inhibits the cellular respiration of the pathogen and causes its subsequent death.
The active substance of the drug is kresoxim-methyl. “Strobi” is produced in brown granules; they dissolve well in water, without sediment. Available in packages of 2 g, 10 g, 100 g, 200 g.
What is it used for?
The drug is effective against fungal diseases on plants:
- brown rot;
- scab;
- mildew;
- gray mold;
- tinder;
- stem rot;
- powdery mildew, downy mildew;
- stemphylosis;
- different types of spotting;
- rust;
- rubella.
Apple trees, pears, currants, grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, and flowers are treated with “Strobi”.
How does it work
“Strobe” evenly penetrates the structure of the leaf plates, distributed outside and inside, even when sprayed from one side. It suppresses the action of fungal pathogens and prevents the proliferation of secondary spores.
The dried substance creates a dense, indelible film on plants and penetrates poorly into tissues. The action of the fungicide appears after 2 hours for minor damage and after 2 days for severe disease. Retains protection for average infection for up to 14 days, for severe infection for up to 10 days.
Advantages and disadvantages
The use of the agrochemical is allowed during the flowering period; it is effective even if it partially gets on the leaves. It is also allowed to process wet sheet plates at temperatures from +5 C. Protection is effective for up to 1.5 months. The product is economical and has low toxicity.
The disadvantages are that mushrooms can change and become resistant to the action of the fungicide.
Consumption rates
Consumption depends on the type of plants, area, and the purpose for which spraying is carried out. Usually this is 2 g of the substance per 10 liters of settled water. The norms differ slightly among different types of crops.
Preparation of the working solution and how to use the drug correctly
The instructions for use characterize Strobi as a universal fungicide for combating fungal microflora.
Before you start spraying, you need to know the specifics of working with the drug. The solution should not be prepared in advance, only immediately before use. Dilute the substance in a manual or automatic spray bottle, and rinse the container thoroughly after use.
First, the granules are dissolved in 1 liter of water, and the working tank is half filled with settled water. While stirring, pour in the solution and add liquid to the required volume. Close, shake, start processing. The mixture should be used within 2-3 hours.
Apply in the morning or evening, in calm weather, spraying the leaves, trunk, fruits, and root zone. It is often not recommended to use Strobi, otherwise this will lead to resistance of pathogenic fungi to the drug. For treatment, it is recommended to spray the plants with a fungicide of a different class before and after use.
Vegetables
For vegetable crops, the dosage of fungicide is 2 g per bucket of water, use during the growing season. Multiplicity - 2 times. For 1 sq. m will require 150 ml of solution. Effective against late blight, powdery mildew, brown spot, downy mildew, scab, rot. Combine with “Abiga-Peak”, “Quadris”, but alternately.
For grapes
They begin to process the vine in early spring for prevention, touching the stem and root zone.Then, in the phase of 4-5 sheets, once again pass along the top of the plates, while diluting 2 g per bucket of water. Treatment is carried out throughout the growing season.
If the vine is damaged by powdery mildew or scab, dilute 2 g per 10 liters of water. For mildew and oidium, the dose is 2 g per 8 l, for other diseases - 5 g per 10 l.
Experts recommend doing 2 treatments per season and the last one 30 days before harvest.
Before processing, preventative pruning should be done: remove dry, dead branches.
For grapes, they combine “Strobi” and preparations from the series of fungicides: “Delan”, “Poliram”.
Tree processing
For a meter of height of a fruit tree, you need 2 g of the substance, diluted in 10 liters of water. Treat three times with an interval of 2 weeks, the last one 35 days before harvest. Alternate with the drugs "Skor", Bordeaux mixture, "Cumulus".
Colors
Roses are sprayed from the beginning of July until frost twice a month, not forgetting to cultivate the soil around them.
For powdery mildew and rust, dissolve 5 g of the substance in a bucket of water. During the growing season, flowers can be sprayed 2-3 times with an interval of 10 days.
Safety precautions when working with fungicide
When processing the drug, be sure to use protective equipment: wear a work suit, gloves, and a respirator. Then soak the clothes in a soap-soda solution. Carry out gardening and vegetable work only after 3 days.
Compatibility with other drugs
When combining with other chemicals, remember that they are not used simultaneously, but in turn. During treatment, it is recommended to alternate between “Strobi” and “Topaz”, “Fastak”, “Delan”, “Abiga-Peak”. This is necessary so that the fungal mycellium does not adapt to the active substances.
If you spray two drugs at once, you should first conduct a compatibility test.
Toxicity
The drug is classified as low-toxic; if safety precautions are followed, it will not affect humans. Studies have shown that after application, no residues of the substance were found on fruits, vegetables, or soil. The fungicide does not accumulate in the reservoir and has low toxicity for living organisms.
Despite this, the product should not be used near ponds with fish or sources of drinking water.
Storage rules and periods
The working solution must be used immediately. Store the drug in the package in a dry, cool place, away from food and out of the reach of children, for a period of 3 years.
Analogues of the product
Similar fungicides for fungi: “Strobitex”, “Trichodermin”, “Skor”. They serve to prevent fungal diseases, destroy the pores of the mycelium and help cope with pathogens.
