Instructions for use and composition of the fungicide ZIM 500, dosage and analogues

Agricultural crops are the foundation on which agribusiness is built. Without them, there is no direct sale of plant foods to the population, as well as supplies of feed for industrial livestock farming and farmsteads. Plants suffer greatly from the negative effects of various diseases, including fungal diseases, which can not only deprive the harvest, but also destroy the plantings. To protect them, the systemic fungicide ZIM 500 is used.

Composition and release form of the systemic fungicide "ZIM 500"

The drug is produced in the form of a suspension concentrate, belongs to benzimidazoles, has a complex effect, that is, when treated with ZIM 500, its active components penetrate into plant juices and are distributed with them throughout all organs, including the roots, thereby providing comprehensive protection of all vegetative parts.

The ZIM 500 suspension concentrate contains 500 grams per liter of the active substance carbendazim. It goes on sale in 10 liter plastic canisters.

Spectrum of action

Systemic fungicide "ZIM 500" is used against the following fungal diseases and to protect crops:

  1. Helminthosporiosis, powdery mildew, root and basal rot, dusty and smut, mold on seeds during storage, lodging of grains. Effective when processing spring and winter wheat and barley.
  2. Cercospora and powdery mildew of sugar beet.

The product “ZIM 500” has not only a therapeutic, but also a preventive effect; it can treat plants even after signs of infection appear.

How the drug works

When spraying the working solution of the systemic fungicide “ZIM 500” onto a vegetating plant, it is absorbed through the foliage and stems. With the flow of juices, the drug is distributed throughout all organs of the plant, entering not only the growing zones (rising from bottom to top), but also being absorbed by the root system.

The active component is able to cope with diseases even if, during processing, it did not come directly into the area of the spread of a fungal infection. The systemic qualities of the product help it destroy infection, slowing down the process of cell division of pathogenic fungi and leading them to inevitable death.
