- mesosulfuron-methyl – 30 grams;
- iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium – 6 grams;
- mefenpyr-diethyl – 90 grams.
Operating principle
“Verdict” is characterized by rapid penetration into the foliage and root system of plants. The active components of the product affect the physiological processes of susceptible weeds, similar to other types of sulfonylurea herbicides. The principle of their action is due to a violation of the activity of the enzyme acetolactate synthase. As a result, cell division and culture growth stop.
Mefenpyr diethyl is considered an antidote that ensures rapid degradation of iodosulfuron-methyl and mesosulfuron-methyl in treated crops. Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve high selectivity and avoid the development of phytotoxicity. In weed tissues, this component usually does not show much activity.
