The breed of pigeons of the Krasnodar region was bred by Russian breeders. The predecessors of these birds are Turkish tumblers. The opportunity to work with them arose due to the annexation of Crimea, Azov and Kuban to Russian territory. Fighting pigeons are prized for their special flying skills and other virtues.
