The insecticidal effect of the drug "Ivango" is due to the effects of the synthetic pyrethroid alpha-cypermethrin included in its composition. The substance is contained in an amount of 100 grams per 1 liter of the total volume of the base.

The product has the form of a concentrated emulsion, packaged in 5 liters in plastic screw-on containers for use on farmland and 10 milliliters for use in summer cottages and garden plots.

Purpose and principle of operation of the insecticide

The insecticidal agent "Ivango" is intended for surface treatment of plantings of cereals, vegetables, peas, apple trees and pasture meadows. The wide spectrum of action of the drug allows you to quickly get rid of various types of pests, including difficult-to-eradicate and specific ones, and also provide plantings with lasting protection from repeated damage for a period of at least 7 days.

Alpha-cypermethrin in the composition of the insecticide is a contact pesticide that penetrates the pest’s body through the body. The compound also acts after entering the intestines when eating poison-treated vegetation.

The substance disrupts the functioning of the nervous system of insects, affecting calcium metabolism and the functioning of sodium-potassium channels, which causes an excessive release of acetylcholine at the time of nervous stimulation. As a result of impaired motor function, paralysis and death of poisoned individuals occurs.

The drug is concentrated on the surface and in the cuticle of treated plants. The effect develops quickly. The result of using Ivanhoe is observed within 30-60 minutes after treatment. Due to the persistent repellent effect after use, the plants do not attract insects.

Consumption rate and instructions for use

The insecticide is used for agricultural plantings and in private household plots with strict adherence to the dosage established in accordance with the name of the crop, the type of harmful object and the area of ​​plantings.

Dosages and consumption standards of "Ivanhoe" for processing various crops:

In private household plots it is allowed to use “Ivanhoe” for insecticidal treatment of potato plantings against the Colorado potato beetle and apple trees against leaf rollers, codling moths and aphids. The dose of the drug for a potato plot of 100x100 meters is 1 milliliter, which must be dissolved in 5 liters of water. To treat one apple tree, you will need 1.5 milliliters of suspension diluted in 5 liters of water.

Treatment with the Ivanhoe insecticide is carried out by spraying the plantings with a working fluid during the growing season. The solution for work is an aqueous dilution of the emulsion concentrate. To prepare the dilution, you need to pour a third of the total amount of water into a container of appropriate volume and add a precisely measured amount of concentrate. After thorough mixing, add the remaining water to the tank. The solution is used on the day of dilution.

Safety precautions for use

The insecticide is classified as a chemical substance moderately hazardous to human health (hazard class 3).

When working with the drug, the following rules must be observed:

• use protective clothing that prevents contact of the suspension with open areas of the body;
• use personal protective equipment (rubber gloves, respirator, goggles or shield);
• restrict access to the work area for unauthorized persons;
• Avoid eating during work and observe personal hygiene rules.

The drug is toxic to pollinating insects (hazard class 1). It is necessary to notify nearby beekeeping farms about the date of treatment to limit the flight of bees for a period of at least 96 hours. It is not recommended to use the product during the period of mass flowering of gardens.

Pesticide Compatibility

"Ivango" is compatible with most pesticides, with the exception of preparations that contain alkaline compounds.

How to store it correctly

The container with the concentrate is stored isolated from household items, food and veterinary feed mixtures, out of the reach of children and animals, at a temperature not lower than -5 °C and not higher than +30 °C. The canister is placed away from heating devices and areas exposed to direct sunlight.
