Operating principle and purpose
The Mospilan solution is well absorbed by all parts of plants and is evenly distributed in tissues. This ensures complete penetration into the plants, even in those areas where the solution did not reach during spraying. Thanks to the intestinal action of the substance, pests are destroyed even after eating the leaves, and not just from contact with the product. Acetamiprid has a paralytic effect on insects, causing them to die. It affects larvae, adults and eggs.
In agriculture, "Mospilan" is used on wheat against bugs and ground beetles, wheat and barley against ground beetles, flies, flea beetles, on potatoes against the Colorado potato beetle and potato ladybug, greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers against whiteflies, pastures and wild vegetation against locusts. In private household plots, potatoes are treated against beetles.
"Mospilan" begins to act within an hour after treatment and continues, depending on the weather, for 2-4 weeks.
The drug is also active at elevated temperatures, that is, it can be used to treat plants in hot weather. Non-toxic to shoulders and bumblebees, can be used in integrated protection systems for fruit and grapes and as a means of anti-resistance programs.

“Mospilan” cannot be used on all crops; it is not used on fruits, berries, and ornamental shrubs.
Instructions for use of the insecticide "Mospilan"
The product has a low consumption level, the application rate for various crops is reflected in the instructions (in kg per hectare):
- wheat and barley (seed treatment) – 0.5-0.7;
- wheat – 0.05-0.75;
- wheat from ground beetle – 0.15-0.175;
- potato from beetle – 0.025-0.04;
- potatoes from potato cow – 0.1-0.125;
- tomato and cucumber – 0.15-0.2;
- pastures – 0.06-0.08.
Solution consumption: when treating seeds up to 10 liters per ton, when spraying seedlings - 100-200 liters per hectare, when spraying adult plants - 200-400 liters, greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers - 1000-3000 liters, pastures - 200-400 liters. Carry out a single spraying. The period before harvesting fruits varies: for grains - 28 days, potatoes - 14 days, greenhouse vegetables - 1 day. People are allowed to go out to work in the areas 3 days after spraying.
In private household plots "Mospilan" they treat potatoes against beetles at a dosage of 0.25/100 m2 and a solution consumption of 4 liters per hundred square meters. The waiting period is 2 weeks.
Safety precautions for use
"Mospilan" in terms of toxicity belongs to class 3 for humans and bees. It is low toxic to humans, beneficial insects, animals, plants and soil. It is prohibited to use it in areas near water bodies, as the active substance may be toxic to fish.
If during work the solution gets on your skin, be sure to wash it off with water. If the solution gets into your eyes, you should also rinse them with water. If the insecticide is ingested, gastric lavage should be done. If there is no improvement in your condition, you should consult a doctor.
Compatibility with other substances
"Mospilan" is allowed to be combined with pesticides that do not have an alkaline reaction. But it is recommended in each case to first check compatibility with a small volume of the joint solution. If the substances in it do not react, there are no visible changes in color, temperature and other chemical and physical properties, then the products can be used together.
Terms and conditions of storage
"Mospilan" is allowed to be stored for 5 years, always in a closed original container. If stored unsealed, the product loses its properties before its expiration date. Storage conditions are as follows: at a temperature from -15 to +30 ˚С, in a dark, always dry and ventilated room. Do not store food, feed, household products, medicines or similar products next to agrochemicals. Fertilizers can be stored. Do not allow children and animals to come into contact with the insecticide.
It is not recommended to use Mospilan after the expiration date. The solution diluted in water can be stored for 1 day, after which it reduces its effectiveness. It is not advisable to use it.
