"Gamavit" is an immunocorrective drug for rabbits. This medicine is intended to increase the vitality of animals. This is a complex of the most important vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The drug helps rabbits quickly overcome infectious or viral diseases and survive during epidemics. The drug is prescribed to animals from the first week of life.
Description of the drug "Gamavit"
An injection solution called "Gamavit" can be purchased at any veterinary pharmacy.This drug is used to increase the natural resistance of the rabbits’ body, as well as for immunocorrection and reduce the negative consequences of intoxication. “Gamavit” injections help enrich the animals’ bodies with precisely those substances that mobilize internal resources to fight diseases.
The drug contains a complex of the most important vitamins for rabbits (A, C, D, group B), minerals, as well as a number of useful amino acids. The main active ingredients of this drug are denatured emulsified placenta and sodium nucleinate. The medicine is a clear reddish liquid. "Gamavit", as a rule, is packaged in glass bottles of 2, 5, 10...450 ml. The medicine is sold in original packaging, but it can be purchased individually.
Indications and contraindications for use
"Gamavit" has a unique composition that allows it to be used for preventive and therapeutic purposes. The medicine normalizes metabolic processes and improves the bactericidal activity of blood serum. The use of this product increases the immunity of rabbits, reduces the mortality rate of newborn young, and increases the vitality of growing offspring.

- before mating to increase the likelihood of fertilization;
- period of pregnancy and lactation;

Contraindications:
- age of newborn rabbits up to 5 days;
- the first 7-14 days after vaccination.
How to use the product for rabbits correctly
Gamavit injections are given to adult rabbits to stimulate growth, to pregnant rabbits to improve their immunity and fetal health, as well as to newborn rabbits, especially those who are bottle-fed. In each such case, adhere to the established dosage.
Injections are given to pets at the raised withers or mid-thigh. The drug can be administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously and even intravenously. It is allowed to feed especially aggressive rabbits with this product diluted in water (dose: 2 times more than for injection, per 1 liter of liquid, once a day, for 1-7 days).

Important! "Gamavit" is injected into rabbits in small doses, therefore, in order to increase the volume of the drug, it is diluted with saline solution (sodium chloride). Insulin syringes are used for injections. The amount of "Gamavit" can be increased with saline solution by only one small division of the syringe.
Side effects
"Gamavit" is not a panacea for all possible infectious or viral diseases. This is a means to support immunity, and not for treating animals. The drug will help rabbits cope with a serious illness or recover faster after vaccination, childbirth, or stress.
"Gamavit" does not cause any negative consequences if you do not exceed the dosage specified in the instructions. The drug may cause allergies, but the likelihood of individual intolerance is very low.
Storage of the drug
"Gamavit" is stored at room temperature for 1 year from the date of manufacture. You can keep the medicine in the refrigerator, but do not let it freeze. The expiration date is indicated on the packaging and on the drug itself.
An open bottle of medicine should be stored in the refrigerator for no more than a day. It is better not to open the cork, but to pierce it with a needle and draw the required amount of solution through it. In this case, “Gamavit” can stay in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
Important! The medicine must not be used after the expiration date. The color of the drug should only be red, but not yellow.
