When using agricultural products in agriculture, adhesives have recently been used - special preparations that make the use of products more effective and reduce their consumption. Let's look at the composition and action of the adhesive "Liposam" according to the instructions, and its purpose. How to work with the drug, how to store it correctly and what can be replaced, what products are available with the same effect.
Composition and release form of "Liposam"
The Ukrainian-made “Liposam” adhesive contains several natural biopolymers, which form a unique composition. The drug is available in the form of a concentrated emulsion. Packaging: 5 ml, 8 ml, 10 ml and 280 ml for use in small areas and 0.5 l, 5 l and 10 l for use in farm fields.
How does bioadhesive work and what is it used for?
“Liposam” is used for processing seeds, bulbs and tubers, for soaking the root system of seedlings and seedlings, for treating crops during the growing season. The adhesive is mixed with the main product. It is not a medicinal or preventive or stimulating drug, but is used to increase the degree of contact of the product with the plant, thus “Liposam” enhances its effect. The main preparation can be a herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, microfertilizer and biological product.
When processing seeds, the adhesive “Liposam” fixes nutritional or protective agents on their surface and enhances contact. In addition, it forms a protective film on the surface that conserves moisture.
When treating plants during the growing season, the adhesive improves the spreadability of solution droplets, increasing the area of the preparation that comes into contact with the leaf, especially with a smooth surface coated with vegetable wax. Does not disturb the structure of plant tissues. Under the influence of “Liposam”, drops do not flow from the sheet, the solution is retained on the surface after rain, and remains in place for up to 30 days.
The product “Liposam” can protect plants from sunburn, wilting, frost, and improves the absorption of mineral elements during foliar feeding. Saves fertilizers by 30%.Reduces the amount of pesticides by 30-50%, while maintaining their effect. Reduces the stressful effects of pesticides.
Instructions for use
Liposam application rates: for seed treatment - 0.15-1.5 liters per ton, for spraying plants - 0.15-0.2 liters per hectare.
How to use the adhesive: to treat seed material, prepare a solution at a concentration of 10 ml per 1 liter, soak the seeds in it for 1.5-2 hours. Sow them dry. For tubers and bulbs, make a solution of 5-10 ml per 2-5 liters, spray the material with a spray bottle. To soak the roots of seedlings, prepare a solution in the same concentration; the solution should be enough for 5-10 dozen plants. For the roots of seedlings, the concentration will be different - 5-10 ml per 5-10 liters.
When watering under the roots, “Liposam” is added to the water to hold it around the roots and protect it from mechanical and pest damage. Treatment on the leaf is carried out with a frequency of 1 time in 1-1.5 weeks, together with liquid fertilizers, drugs against infections and pests.
Procedure for preparing the solution: the adhesive is dissolved in water in a concentration of 1 to 1, stirred until a homogeneous liquid is obtained. Then the remaining volume of water is added to the tank, stirring constantly. When used with pesticides, first dissolve them and then attach the adhesive.
The product works at air temperatures from 5 to 50 °C.
Security measures
"Liposam" is completely non-toxic for humans, animals and insects. The products obtained from the processed plants do not accumulate toxic compounds. There are fruits and they can be processed after treatment with the drug; there is no waiting period.
However, precautions still exist: if drops of the product get into your eyes or skin, rinse these areas with warm water. When working with a solution that, in addition to Liposam, contains a pesticide, follow the safety precautions recommended for working with agrochemicals. Work in protective clothing, gloves, goggles and a respirator.
Storage rules
Liposam can be stored for 3 years from the date of release. The adhesive must be in its original packaging, tightly closed. Store in warehouses together with other agrochemicals. Storage conditions – temperature 0-20 ˚С, dark and dry room. After the shelf life has expired, “Liposam” must be disposed of.
Analogues of the drug
The American drug “New Film” was created on the basis of natural polymers, but, unlike “Liposam”, which contains exopolysaccharides produced by microorganisms, it contains linolin from pine resin. There are other analogues - the drugs “Trend” and “Macho”.
The Ukrainian-made adhesive “Liposam” is not inferior to foreign analogues in terms of quality and effectiveness. It significantly saves pesticides with which it is used together, prevents them from being washed off by rain and runoff, thereby reducing solution consumption. Enhances the effectiveness of pesticides, improves contact with pathogens and insect pests.
When mixed with Liposam fertilizers during foliar feeding, it improves the penetration of mineral components into plant tissues. Protects seeds and tubers from damage and drying out, retains moisture on the leaves, stems and roots of plants. As a biological product consisting of natural compounds, it does not harm plants at all; it has no waiting period, since it does not contain toxic substances.
