“Ortus” is a contact acaricide that is used for integrated protection of grapes, apple trees, and hops. It helps to cope with a large number of herbivorous mites. The composition is highly effective. At the same time, it will be possible to obtain the desired effect only if the instructions are strictly followed. Compliance with safety measures is of no small importance.
Preparative form
The drug is released in the form of a suspension concentrate.It is sold in 0.5 liter plastic containers.
Active substance
The active component of the substance is considered to be fenpiroximate. 1 liter of product contains 50 grams of this ingredient.
Mechanism of action
"Ortus" provokes rapid paralysis of ticks. Moreover, it works at all moving stages of their development. The composition can be used at the stage of larvae, nymphs and adults. The effectiveness of the substance is determined simultaneously by 3 key processes:
- nerve impulse - in this case, the transmission of data through the postsynaptic membrane of the nervous system to various organs of the parasite is disrupted;

If young pests appear after treatment from previously laid eggs, they die immediately. This is due to the contact of parasites with residues of the product.

This acaricide, when exposed to ticks, provokes their paralysis and reduces egg laying. This is due to the following processes:
- instant paralysis due to a nerve impulse;
- complete cessation of all life processes;
- stopping the development cycle of the parasite.
The drug has a long-term protective effect. It lasts for 21-28 days. At the same time, the substance does not produce a phytotoxic effect on cultivated plants. The insecticide does not affect entomages. These include predatory mites and beneficial insects - in particular, bees.
The drug can be used once during the season. In this case, first you need to make a working fluid. You need to prepare the composition right before you start spraying. To do this, the tank should be filled one-third full with water.When the mixing device is turned on, it is recommended to add the required volume of water to obtain the calculated volume. Then mix and spray the plantings. It is recommended to use the working fluid on the day of manufacture.

- The size of the border zone for bees should be at least 2-3 kilometers. The duration of bee flight limitation is 3-4 hours.At the same time, beekeepers must be informed at least 4-5 days in advance about the planned processing. They should know about the timing and zones of planting processing.
Despite the low toxicity of the substance for humans, it is worth considering the following:
- use skin protection products;
- If the substance gets on your body, wash it off with plenty of soap and water;
- do not keep the drug near food;
- Do not spray the substance near bodies of water.
Interaction with other tools
The product combines well with most popular insecticidal and fungicidal preparations. The exception is compounds that include copper.

In sealed original packaging, the drug can be stored for 2 years. At the same time, it retains its properties at temperatures from -15 to +40 degrees.
