The Aqua rose variety is a perennial shrub; it is the result of a symbiosis of tea and remontant roses. The plant grows from 80 to 100 centimeters in height and 50-60 centimeters in width. There are practically no thorns on the stems, the surface is smooth, strong, and long. The leaves have a bright green tint. The buds are lilac, bright pinkish, purple, depending on the planting location.

If the season passes without rain, the bluish rose will awaken. It stays tint for a week. Inflorescences grow up to 12 centimeters. The rose has dense petals, there are about 50 of them in one bud. When flowering, the buds change color and retain color. The flowering period occurs at the end of June and before the onset of frosts from -10. The shrub is resistant to diseases and pests. The variety is grown in greenhouse conditions, greenhouses and open ground.

You cannot store cuttings in a peat mixture for longer than 3 weeks.

Selection and preparation of a site

Roses should be planted in a place where there is enough sunlight, but not all the time. It is advisable not to use the southern side so that the buds do not burn out and flowering is prolonged. There shouldn’t be a lot of shade either, since the place may be damp, which will cause the roots to rot and diseases to arise.

You should not plant the plant where tall trees grow, as their roots and shady crowns will quickly suppress the growth of the bush. The best place to land is where there is shade at midday. The soil should be neutral; if the site is loamy, add manure and sand. Fresh compost is not recommended, as its substances can have a negative effect on the sensitive root system.

Landing technology

The planting process is carried out in stages.

1. Place the seedlings in the center of the hole, carefully straightening the root system.
2. Cover the roots with soil, placing their neck 5 centimeters higher from the ground.

To achieve good bush formation, plant the planting material at a distance of 1 meter from other plants. The higher the neighbor in the garden, the larger the gap should be.

Plant seedlings from each other with a distance of 80 cm, between rows - 2 meters.

Plant care rules

It is necessary to care for shrubs as follows.

1. Water the flower bed generously and feed it.

4. Mulch the soil 2 times a year.
5. Carry out loosening and weeding.

The Aqua variety is easy to care for and the process will not take much time.

Feeding, watering

Slurry is widely used as a top dressing. It includes the required chemicals and beneficial bacteria. Recharge is carried out every 2 weeks, in the summer only 3-4 times.

Prepare mullein in advance:

• 1.5-2 weeks in advance, place in a barrel with water in a ratio of 1:3;
• add chemical fertilizers to the mixture: potassium sulfate and double superphosphate - 15 grams per 1 liter of water;
• Dilute the concentrate with water 1:10.

Make furrows 40 centimeters apart around the bush and fill them with soil or sand. The next day, loosen the ground.

1. After removing the cover and pruning in the spring, feed the bushes with ammonium nitrate. Allowed 30 grams per 1 square meter.
2. After budding starts, apply a complex fertilizer with nitrogen.
3. Before new flowering, feed with mullein solution - 1:10.
4. After the first blossoming, fertilize the bushes with a complete mineral fertilizer with microelements.
5. In the fall, fertilize with potassium and phosphorus.

To check the need for watering, stick your finger into the soil. If it's dry, it's time to irrigate the soil. It's better to do this early in the morning.Water should reach the roots and not affect above-ground areas - leaves and branches. On average, 1 watering per week is enough.

Mulching

In early May and autumn, the soil is mulched. You can use shredded wood, compost or bark. Mulch the area next to the trunk with a thick layer of 7 centimeters of cut grass or compost. This will save the roots from overheating and drying out in the spring, and from sudden frosts in the fall.

Soil treatment

Experienced gardeners advise planting plants in the fall, before frost. You can plant Aqua rose in spring. Too wet soil is contraindicated for this variety; it weakens the protective properties of the plant and spoils its appearance. Neutral and fertile soil is preferred. If it does not meet the above criteria, fertilize it with compost or peat. Add rotted manure with sand to the loamy soil and water generously. Dig holes so that the tender roots have room in them. To strengthen the root ball, before planting, immerse it in water for 20 minutes.

Trimming

Bushes should be pruned in spring, summer and fall. Manipulation will improve flowering and growth.

1. Before flowering begins, prune.
2. From mid-August, prune roses after blooming.
3. To encourage re-pollen after it has faded, cut off the buds above the top five leaves.

Use sharp pruning shears to avoid ragged, crushed edges of the cut. It takes a long time to overgrow and serves as an open gate for infection.

Preparing for winter

The bushes need to be covered in the fall, when the air temperature drops below zero. Otherwise, they will freeze or die. You can use dry soil or sand and hill up the bush to a height of 30 centimeters. Place spruce branches on top.In spring, remove the cover in stages 10 times. It is advisable to do this in the evening or in cloudy weather.

Diseases, pests and methods of combating them

Hybrid tea roses are sometimes affected by aphids, gray rot, fungal diseases, and pests. There are effective methods to eliminate them.

1. Aphids are treated with a solution of alcohol and laundry soap.
2. Gray rot is leveled as follows: tear off the affected leaves, spray the rest with horsetail decoction.
3. Infestations of larvae and caterpillars can be eliminated with insecticides.

Nematode worms are fatal to roses. They attack the root and destroy the plant. It is impossible to fight them. It is better to plant calendula in place of a wilted bush. Worms are afraid of this flower.

Use in landscape design
