The active development of plants and rapid fruiting imply increased demands not only on soil fertility and quality of irrigation. For enhanced nutrition of plantings, a developed root system is required. The vegetation is helped by treatment with “Etamon” - a stimulator and regulator of root growth. This product is suitable for planting in open ground and in greenhouses.
Composition and release form of the growth stimulator
The main active ingredient of “Etamon” is ammonium dimethyldimethylphosphate (2-hydroxyethyl) at a concentration of 500 grams per liter in the case of an aqueous solution or at a concentration of 10 grams per kilogram in a dry form.
The drug is available in 10 gram packaging (foil pouch), in plastic bottles of 100, 500 and 1000 ml. The working fluid is an aqueous solution.
Mechanism of operation
When treated with Etamon, the rapid growth of central, lateral, and adventitious roots in seedlings and adult plants is stimulated. As a result, the formation of root crops and tubers is enhanced, as well as increased growth of young roots in perennial crops, shrubs and trees. This leads to a longer life span, flowering and fruiting of ornamental and fruit plants.
Rules for using the drug
"Etamon" is suitable for use in the following ways:
- Processing of seed material before sowing. Can be combined with film-forming polymer agents.
- Use in drip irrigation systems. “Etamon” is introduced into irrigation water in an amount of 10 milligrams per liter of liquid. The consumption of water with the drug diluted in it is 0.15-0.2 liters per plant.
- Crops growing in open ground are sprayed with a working solution at a concentration of 10 milligrams per liter with a consumption of 400-600 liters per hectare. "Etamon" can be combined with fertilizers for foliar feeding and with most pesticides.
Not suitable for spray application by agricultural aviation.
Safety precautions when working with the product
The root system stimulator “Etamon” belongs to hazard class 3, is harmful to honey bees, and therefore requires limiting the use of these insects during the summer and near apiaries and individual hives. Treatments are carried out early in the morning or late in the evening, not in direct sunlight, in windless, dry weather.
To protect workers when using the product, the following safety precautions must be used:
- Wearing protective clothing, goggles, masks or respirators, rubber gloves.
- Prohibition on eating, drinking, smoking.
- After treatment, you need to take a shower, wash with soap and change clothes to clean ones.
If the product gets on the skin, wash the affected area with soap and water.
If “Etamon” gets into the eyes or mucous membranes, they are washed abundantly with running water. In case of accidental ingestion, take activated charcoal and a saline laxative. Deterioration in health requires seeking medical help.
Storage conditions and periods
“Etamon” must be stored in a dark, ventilated room at a temperature from -15 to +35 degrees Celsius, out of reach of strangers, children and animals. It is prohibited to keep the drug and food, medicines and feed for domestic and farm animals together.
Storage must be carried out in labeled containers. Shelf life is 36 months unopened.
