With Anyuta grapes, summer residents will not be left without a harvest. This is an excellent table variety. Juicy pink berries delight with a pleasant taste. Bright brushes are decorative: they decorate the area. Anyuta is increasingly found in summer cottages. The grapes are valued for their refreshing taste and high marketability. It is liked by adults and children.
History of selection
The variety was presented to gardeners by amateur breeder V.N. Krainov. The author took as a basis the popular varieties: Kishmish Radiant and Talisman. The result was productive table grapes with improved characteristics.
Description of the variety
Anyuta is an ideal variety for gardeners who want to have table grapes on their menu. Description of the variety:
- the plant takes root and adapts easily;
- Fruiting occurs in the 3rd year of life in the garden;
- a medium-ripening variety (145 days from awakening of the vine to harvest);
- the bush is vigorous (the vine stretches up to 3 m);
- the vine is sometimes loose (breaks under the weight of the berries);
- leaf bright green, small;
- no peas;
- the variety is resistant to temperature changes;
- the fruits do not fall off the bush within 2-3 weeks after the harvest ripens;
- active shoot growth (regular trimming required);
- excellent rooting of cuttings (98%).
Anyuta has advantages over similar table varieties: stable fruiting, full ripening of berries, rapid adaptation to weather conditions.
Features of the variety and distinctive features
The variety has its own characteristics. When grown in fertile soils, the vine becomes overloaded with tassels and breaks. Berries left on the bushes after ripening lose their taste. To obtain a stable harvest, it is recommended to take into account such features.
Berries
It’s easy to recognize Anyuta by its berries:
- pink color, with a slight bluish tint;
- 4 bones inside;
- berries are oval-ovoid;
- maximum grape weight 20 g;
- berry size 35 mm x 25 mm;
- the brushes are loose, lush, cone-shaped;
- average brush weight - 1200 g, maximum - 1500 g;
- the pulp is watery, juicy, sweet;
- the skin is dense.
The Anyuta harvest is easy to transport over long distances: the berries remain marketable.
Bush
Characteristics of the Anyuta bush:
- the plant is tall, powerful (requires support);
- bark light brown;
- the vine ripens within a season;
- frost resistance of the vine down to -24 degrees Celsius;
- the root system is prone to freezing;
- the bush overloads itself with fruits: rationing is required;
- the leaf is large, light green;
- The bush is prone to overgrowing: it requires trimming and lightening of the ripening bunches.
The grapes easily tolerate frost. But the root system freezes: in regions with prolonged frosts it is necessary to cover the plant for the winter.
Landing Features
Anyuta is a table variety with high characteristics. But obtaining a harvest of high-quality berries is only possible with proper planting. You should follow the recommendations of agronomists:
- Anyuta bears fruit well in sunny areas protected from northern and northeastern winds. Grapes should be planted near the southern and southwestern walls of country houses. It is recommended to take into account the size of the bush: it is required to retreat 2.5-3 m from the walls.
- The winegrower must take care of support for the vine in advance. The plant overloads itself with fruits. Untied stems break and the harvest is lost.
- The depth of groundwater at the site is 3-4 m. The grapes do not tolerate waterlogging of the soil. To prevent wetting and rotting of the root system, drainage must be done before planting. To do this, you need to crush crushed stone, brick, tiles and pour a layer of 7-10 cm onto the bottom of the planting hole. This simple measure will prevent stagnation of water at the roots.
If all recommendations are followed, Anyuta bears fruit regularly and abundantly.
Soil selection
The variety prefers soils that are fertile, loose, with a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. It is recommended to deoxidize acidic ones by adding lime (1 liter per square meter). To obtain permeable soil, add perlite, neutral peat, and sand.
Rootstock cuttings
Anyuta takes root easily.This allows you to grow it as a root plant. But when grafting with cuttings, the period before the first harvest is reduced by a year. At the same time, the resistance of the root system to freezing increases.
Negative point: the scion inherits all diseases of the rootstock. This should be taken into account when choosing the latter. Grapes of any variety are suitable for rootstock.
Landing
It is recommended to plant Anyuta in the garden in early spring (March) or mid-autumn (early October). When planting in spring, the soil temperature should be 7-10 degrees Celsius. In autumn, planting should be done 2-3 weeks before the onset of steady cold weather. During this time, the bush will have time to take root well.
The plant must be planted in a planting hole. Its size must be sufficient to accommodate the root system. Be sure to thoroughly water the hole. Place a mound of earth at the bottom and place the roots around it. Add soil gradually. Seal the trunk circle. The planting should be mulched.
When growing several bushes, it is necessary to take into account the strength of growth: they should be planted at a distance of 1.5-2 m from each other.
Care
Anyuta is an unpretentious variety. It bears fruit even for inexperienced winegrowers. But you need to follow the basic rules.
Watering
Anyuta is responsive to moderate watering. The soil should be moistened during flowering and ovary formation. During the period of fruit ripening, it is recommended to stop watering: excessive soil moisture leads to cracking of the berries.
Trimming
The variety is vigorous. It needs to be trimmed to uniformly lighten the ripening brushes. It is necessary to carry out chicking during the ripening period.
Preparing for winter is impossible without formative pruning. All immature vines (they are green in color) should be removed.Then leave a replacement shoot (2 buds) and a fruiting vine above it (6-7 buds). It is necessary to leave up to 6 such segments on the main vine.
Diseases and pests
Anyuta grapes have good immunity. It is resistant to fungal diseases. Among the pests, the variety is damaged by mole crickets and moles. These animals eat the root system. For prevention, it is recommended to install traps and repellers.
