When growing crops, you often have to deal with diseases. But not every drug helps to quickly cope with the problem. Sometimes you have to try several chemicals to find one that works. For example, you can use the Abacus Ultra fungicide after studying the instructions for use.

Composition, purpose and release form of the product

The drug "Abacus Ultra" belongs to premium class chemicals. The main purpose of the drug is to protect crops from various diseases. Treatments also help increase the yield and quality of grains. The use of the chemical helps to increase the plant's immunity.

The chemical is produced in the form of a highly concentrated liquid. The composition includes two active substances. The first is pyraclostrobin. The second chemical is epoxiconazole. The fungicide contains the same amount of both substances. Thanks to these substances, plants do not waste nutrients to fight unfavorable factors (diseases, bad climate).

Mechanism of action of the fungicide

Due to the content of epoxiconazole, fungi cannot form cell membranes due to the formation of ergosterol. The mechanism of action is as follows:

1. First, fungal growth is blocked.
2. Then they stop developing.

The second component in the composition blocks the formation of mitochondria. Prevents energy from entering cells.

The advantages of the drug "Abacus Ultra" include:

1. The chemical reliably protects crops from fungal diseases.

Preparation of working solution

To treat spring and winter wheat, 1.75 liters of fungicide are used per 1 hectare of sown area, diluted in 300 liters of water.Treatments prevent the appearance of powdery mildew, rust and spotting.

Barley is susceptible to all the same diseases as wheat, so processing is carried out using the same technique.

To spray corn, the dosage of the drug is increased. "Abacus Ultra" is used once per growing season. It helps prevent rust, plant bottom rot and pyrenophorosis.

To treat soybeans, use 1.5 liters of the drug per 1 ha. Preventative sprays are necessary for these soybean crops. This is due to the fact that signs of disease become noticeable when it is no longer possible to cure the plants.

The same amount as for soybeans is used if beets are processed. If brown spots appear on the foliage, treat immediately. Spraying is done during the budding period.

How to use the drug

After studying the instructions for use, you can get to work. The working solution must be used immediately after its preparation. Even if there is a lot of liquid left, it is not recommended to reuse it. During the growing season, 2-3 treatments are carried out. The drug begins to act after treatment approximately 35-40 days. After spraying, do not touch the plants or eat the fruits for about 3-5 days.

Precautions when working with the product

The drug has a toxicity class of 3, so if you follow minimal protective measures, it is harmless. Before spraying, you need to put on old closed clothes so that there are no exposed areas of the body. It is also advisable to wear glasses and a mask so that the solution does not get on the mucous membranes.

The area should be sprayed on a dry, windless day so that the wind does not spray the solution in different directions.

If the solution gets inside, you must immediately take the absorbent.If it comes into contact with the skin, wash it thoroughly with running water and soap. If the solution gets into your eyes, wash them with plenty of running water. If complications appear after some time, you should immediately consult a doctor.

The chemical has a 3rd degree of toxicity. "Abacus Ultra" is harmless to humans, animals and insects. When spraying, you must wear protective equipment.

Storage conditions and periods

The drug should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from sunlight. Also, animals and children should not be allowed to reach the fungicide package. Do not keep Abacus Ultra near food. The shelf life is 3 years.
