Operating principle
Tebuconazole, the active substance of Ranazol Ultra, disrupts the process of transition of lanosterol to ergosterol, a substance found in the cell membranes of pathogens. This disruption of sterol formation causes the death of fungi. The product protects grains from the germination stage to the exit stage.
The substance has the property of regulating growth and can slow down the germination of crops under unfavorable conditions: drought, cold weather, if the seeds were embedded deep in the soil, and are characterized by low germination and germination energy. The application rate for seeds of all grains is the same - 0.2-0.25 liters per ton. The treatment is carried out immediately before sowing or in advance - during the year before sowing. The solution dries on the seeds and does not crumble. There is no waiting period for the Ranazol Ultra disinfectant.
Security measures
The disinfectant is quite toxic to humans and belongs to hazard class 2 products. For bees, birds, worms, and aquatic vegetation it is less toxic – hazard classes 3 and 4.
The fungicide has low toxicity for warm-blooded animals. Does not irritate eyes (or slightly irritate) and skin, is not mutagenic.Tebuconazole can persist in soil for up to 5-6 weeks, gradually breaks down in it and slowly moves through the layer.
