Instructions for use and composition of Credo fungicide, pesticide dosage

“Credo” is one of the fungicides that actively work in the field of saving cultivated plants from corrosive microorganisms. This is not the first year that it has been protecting and treating grains and sugar beets from widespread infections of fungal origin. As a chemical preparation, the fungicide "Credo" has its own characteristics in use and precautions when working with it in the field.

Active ingredients and release form

Fungicide "Credo" from the company "August" is produced in the form of a concentrated suspension and packaged in 5-liter canisters. The active ingredient of the drug is carbendazim (500 g/l).

Spectrum of action

Fungicide "Credo" prevents fungi from colonizing a healthy plant and treats crops already affected by pathogens. Its effectiveness has been proven when used on seed and grains that have entered the growing season.

Principle of operation

The active substance of the Credo fungicide, carbendazim, disrupts the cell division processes of parasitic fungi, preventing the synthesis of vital structures such as membranes, organs of attachment of the pathogen to plant tissues, causing other harm to the microorganism, leading to its rapid death.

Expert:
Thanks to penetration under the covers of the protected crop, the fungicide retains its activity for 4-5 weeks.

Consumption rate and use of “Credo”

To process 1 hectare of crops, 300 liters of working fluid are required. To treat grain to protect and strengthen seedlings, up to 10 l/t of solution is sufficient.

Culture Disease Symptoms Rate of use of fungicide "Credo", l/ha Processing method
Cereals Fusarium root rot The root areas have a color close to black. Weak shoots, stunted growth, discoloration of tissues. 1-1.5 l per 10 l of working solution. Treating grain with moisture.
Winter grains Snow mold After the snow melts, a pale coating appears on the leaf sheaths, which subsequently turns pink. The leaves stick together and dry out. 0,3-0,6 Spraying during the growing season.
Cereals Powdery mildew The ground part is covered with a powdery coating. A lot of leaves are drying out. Next, the plaque begins to resemble cotton wool and covers the top of the sheet with dense pads, sometimes the bottom too. 0,5-0,6 Spraying at different stages, depending on the prevalence of pathogens.
Rye Stem smut, mold on grain. Most often, longitudinal gray stripes of different lengths appear in the upper part of the stem. Over time, they crack, releasing dusty fungal spores. The ear often does not appear. 1-1.5 l per 10 l of working solution. Grain dressing.
Sugar beet Cercosporiosis Small light brown spots with a red-brown edge on the leaves are growing. The petiole deviates lower and lower towards the ground. The leaf darkens and dries out. All leaves go this way, starting with the older ones. There are more dry tops than young ones, which no longer have time to grow to standard sizes. 0,6-0,8 Spraying during the growing season.
Powdery mildew A thin white pattern on both sides of the leaf, on the stems, and on the seed balls expands and merges into a solid white coating. There is more plaque, and a flour-like mass can be observed.

Instructions for preparing the working solution:

  1. Approximately one third of the volume is poured into the sprayer.
  2. Turn on the mixer and add a dose of the Credo suspension in a stream.
  3. Stir for 7-10 minutes.
  4. Add water to the recommended concentration of fungicide in the working mixture.
  5. Stir for another 5 minutes.
  6. Start spraying with the mixer turned on.

In the same way, the working fluid is prepared for treating grain with fungicide “Credo” before sowing. Planting material is prepared for the procedure as follows:

  1. They winnow away dust, weed residues, and any dry debris from the grain. If left, it will absorb 30% of the solution. In addition to economic costs, this leads to poor-quality processing, which does not guarantee the complete destruction of pathogens.
  2. Remove the awn from oats.
  3. Grain with a moisture content of more than 15% is treated no earlier than 2-3 days before sowing.
  4. Dry seeds can be processed in advance, 1 or even 3 months before planting in the ground.

Moisten the grain with a medicinal mixture of water and fungicide “Credo”.

Precautions for use

"Credo" belongs to the class of substances dangerous to people. With prolonged contact with this drug, disturbances in the development of the fetus are possible. Therefore, it is not recommended to involve pregnant women in spraying plants with fungicide or treating seeds. The workers involved in this procedure must be changed every 4 hours. Equipment:

  • chemical gloves;
  • workwear and footwear;
  • protective glasses;
  • respirator.

If Credo fungicide gets on any part of the body, wash the area with plenty of water, then with soap and water. Work clothes are stored separately from household items and the drug.

First aid for poisoning

In order to understand that a person has been poisoned, you need to know the signs of this condition. Common symptoms:

  • nausea, vomiting;
  • shortness of breath, suffocation;
  • increased heart rate, cardiac arrest;
  • chills, cold sweat;
  • sudden weakness, drowsiness;
  • headache, dizziness;
  • constriction or dilation of the pupil.

If you complain or observe the described signs, call an ambulance. It is advisable to obtain a telephone consultation before the doctor arrives. To do this, workers must know the name of the active substance.

While the ambulance is on the way:

  • the person is removed 200-400 meters from the source of poisoning and placed in a comfortable horizontal position.
  • if necessary, perform artificial respiration and indirect cardiac massage;
  • wash exposed skin with soap and water or wipe with wet wipes.

Compatibility with other drugs

Fungicide "Credo" can be used in tank mixtures with most plant protection products, growth activators, liquid fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides.

How and for how long can you store it?

The guaranteed shelf life of the Credo fungicide is 3 years. Store in a room 400 m away from domestic buildings, isolated from possible sources of heating and ignition. Ventilation must be provided in the warehouse. Access to the premises by unauthorized persons is not permitted.

What can be replaced?

To the fungicide "Credo", as to most other plant protection products, harmful microorganisms develop an addiction that is compatible with life. To avoid this, it is recommended to choose drugs with a different active ingredient for further control.
