To reap a rich harvest, it must be protected from disease. Treatment with fungicides helps protect plantings from various types of infection. When choosing a drug, you should consider what plants it is intended for, since there is no universal product suitable for all cultivated plants. The use of the fungicide "Kazim" is indicated for crops of wheat, rye, barley and sugar beets.
Release form and composition of the product "Kazim KS"
The drug is a systemic fungicide. Belongs to the class of benzimidazoles.The active ingredient is carbendazim, contained in it at a concentration of 500 grams/liter. It is produced in the form of a concentrated suspension and goes on sale in plastic canisters with a capacity of 5 liters.
A highly effective one-component product designed to combat fungal and bacterial infections of plants. It has a protective and healing effect, therefore it is used for preventive purposes and is used to eliminate detected plant diseases.
Spectrum and mechanism of action of the drug
"Kazim KS" inhibits the process of cell division when a fungal or bacterial infection occurs. It is used for spraying crops of wheat, barley, rye, and sugar beets. Treatment with Kazim can protect plants:
- from root and basal types of rot;
- powdery mildew;
- septoria leaf and ear blight;
- cercosporella;
- dry rot, snow mold.
The fungicide prevents lodging of ears, has a preventive effect and provides a therapeutic effect when crops are infected. It is suitable for pre-sowing seed treatment.
Treated with carbendazim, they remain viable for a year if properly stored. Treating can be done a month before planting or on the day of sowing.
Treatment during the growing season is carried out after the first symptoms of infection are detected on plants. Repeated spraying is carried out after 1.5 weeks. To preserve winter crops, autumn tillage of fields is possible. Cereals are treated 1-2 times, depending on the disease, sugar beets are sprayed up to 3 times.
The drug is active at high humidity and after rain. When using, you should follow the dosages recommended by the manufacturer; in this case, it is not phytotoxic.Plant resistance to the active component develops slowly.

Treatment is carried out 1 to 3 times per season. After spraying the plants, they go out to the fields for work after 3 days. The fungicide is used at least 40 days before harvest. For sugar beets - at least 50 days.
Instructions for use
The drug belongs to hazard class 2 (high toxicity). It is prohibited to use it in personal gardens and vegetable gardens, spray it with small aircraft, or use it in the sanitary zone of reservoirs, since it is highly toxic to fish. Beekeepers should be notified 4-5 days before crop treatment to delay the flight of insects.
Spraying is carried out with a working solution. It is prepared before use and cannot be stored for more than a day. To prepare the working mixture, pour 1/3 of the required liquid into the sprayer, then add the required amount of fungicide and mix the solution thoroughly. Add water to the required volume and mix thoroughly again. After work, the sprayer is washed with water, eliminating any remaining working solution.
Treatment is carried out on cloudy days. Do not spray fields in sunny weather or in strong winds.Do not use for more than 3 years in a row to avoid accumulation of the active substance in the soil and the development of addiction.
Security measures
Each container with fungicide is supplied with detailed instructions on the dosage of the drug, rules for preparing the working solution, period and storage conditions of the product. The instructions must be followed.
To prepare fungicide solutions, special working platforms are used. They are located near the pesticide storage facility, away from agricultural buildings and residential buildings. Such a site should be inaccessible to unauthorized persons, children, and pets. It is thoroughly washed with running water upon completion of work.
Important: if the fungicide gets on exposed skin, they should be washed with running water. After finishing work, you should thoroughly wash exposed areas of the body.
Compatibility with other drugs
The fungicide is compatible with many herbicides and fertilizers. Do not use it in tank mixtures with products that have an alkaline reaction. Before preparing the mixture, it is necessary to check the compatibility of all its components.
Terms and conditions of storage
"Kazim KS" is stored in specialized premises. The container with the fungicide must be tightly closed; the drug should be stored in its original packaging. The title and any warnings must be clearly legible. The shelf life of the drug is 2 years from the date of manufacture. The product is not frozen, kept away from direct sunlight.
