Composition and release form of the fungicide "Profit Gold"
"Profit Gold" consists of 2 active components of systemic and contact action. Each of them complements and enhances the influence of each other, protecting plants both inside and out. Available in the form of water-dispersible granules and packaged in bags of 5, 6 and 1.5 g.
Properties and action
The presence of two components in the drug allows it to cover two directions of action. The first active component, cymoxanil, penetrates under the outer layer of wood tissue, cleans the affected areas from fungal formations and prevents the subsequent development of this disease.
The second component, famoxadone, destroys the fungus along with the spores formed on the surface.
In a humid environment, the substance creates a protective stretchable film. In this way, the area of action of the drug increases by spreading to areas that have not been treated or that have arisen during the period of development and growth. Famoxadone is able to destroy the fungus at the cellular level; it is also effective against its spores.
What diseases does the drug fight?
"Profit Gold" destroys the simplest microbes that cause fungal diseases, including those resistant to other means. The drug is intended for use on any non-flowering plants.
The fungicide is intended for use on:
- indoor plants;
- flowers suffering from septoria;
- strawberries to combat brown spot;
- various plantings infected with powdery mildew;
- onions - effectively fights peronosporosis;
- grapes - helps against mildew;
- tomatoes - from late blight and stem rot;
- potatoes against Alternaria and anthracnose;
- beets.
Advantages and disadvantages of the product
The fungicide has many advantages:
- does not harm the inhabitants of water bodies, animals and people;
- Humidity and rain can only enhance the effect of the product;
- does not wash off when it rains;
- protects new leaves from diseases;
- quickly acts on the causative agent of the disease and prevents it from spreading in the area.
The main disadvantage of a fungicide is that it is only most effective in wet, cool weather. Profit Gold also treats a limited number of fungal diseases and is used for a limited number of crops.
How many treatments can be carried out
Since this fungicide is not able to accumulate in the treated crop, it is used up to 4 times during one season. The exception is the grapevine, which cannot be sprayed more than 3 times. It is also not recommended to treat it during the ripening period of the bunches or during the flowering period. Spraying is carried out no more than every 2 weeks. If necessary, you can reduce the waiting period to 8 days.
Application rates
To treat nightshades, dissolve 6 g of the substance in 10 liters of water. The more seriously the plant is affected, the less water should be added. For preventive measures, take 10 liters, and in case of significant damage - 5 liters. The finished solution is enough for 1 hundred square meters.
The fungicide is also recommended for treating grapes against mildew: add 6 g of the product to 15 liters of water. This solution will be enough to treat 1.5 acres of plantings.
To spray indoor flowers, dilute 1-2 g of the drug in 1 liter of water. The amount depends on the plant variety and the severity of the infestation.
Instructions for use
Usually the first spraying is carried out for the purpose of prevention to prevent the appearance of the disease.If the slightest signs of fungal infection begin to appear on the plants, you should not think that everything will go away on its own.
In the southern regions, the treatment of tomatoes with the Profit Gold fungicide against late blight is carried out after planting the plant in open ground.
You need to wait until the sprouts take root. In the northern regions, processing is done in the second half of June. During this period, the fungus begins to actively reproduce and causes serious harm to the plant.
Potatoes are sprayed against late blight when the foliage in the row has not yet closed into a continuous carpet. The onion is sprayed when its feather has grown 10 cm in height. If the manifestation of the disease is detected earlier and the leaves turn gray, the plant begins to be treated earlier.
The grapes must be treated before they begin to bloom. Its foliage should be completely formed by this time.
It is recommended to re-treat in the absence of wind, on dry days, in the evening or early morning, before dew appears on the foliage. The drug should be diluted in a glass and filtered. After this, pour the substance into the sprayer and add water.
The treatment is carried out so that the drug is evenly distributed on the leaves on both sides. Do not allow drops to form and flow to the ground.
Precautionary measures
In terms of harm to humans, the drug is classified as hazard class 3. Therefore, before starting to treat plants, it is necessary to take the prescribed precautions. The container for preparing the solution is thoroughly washed.
It is strictly forbidden to use it for other purposes, including cooking.
The packaging that contained the product should be burned. The work is performed in a special suit.You should also protect your face and other exposed areas of your body, including your hands.
After processing the plants, wash the clothes. Do not smoke, drink or eat while spraying the substance. If somehow the medicine gets into the stomach, you should immediately induce vomiting and immediately go to the hospital.
If you spray without wearing safety glasses, droplets of the substance may get into your eyes. In this case, you should immediately wash your hands and eyes using clean running water. Next, go to the doctor, because the product can cause a chemical burn. It can cause great damage to vision.
It is forbidden to eat fruits that have recently been sprayed with Profit Gold fungicide. It is necessary to wait 7-14 days until the substance is removed.
Compatibility with other agrochemicals
The manufacturer does not recommend combining Profit Gold with other fungicides. You can combine it with stimulants and growth regulators that do not consist of alkali. It could be: “Ribav-extra”, “Cycron”, “Epin”.
Fungicide storage
The fungicide is stored for 2 years under almost any temperature conditions. However, the packaging must be intact so that moisture does not penetrate to the granules. The finished mixture is not suitable for storage. It does not lose its properties for only a couple of hours. This time is enough to have time to spray the required area. If any remains remain, they must be disposed of in a place inaccessible to animals and people.
Analogues of the product
A good analogue of the Profit Gold fungicide is Thanos. The same effect is characteristic of “Ridomil” and “Ordan”. They can be alternated with Profit Gold to increase the therapeutic effect.
