Instructions for use of Thanos fungicide and preparation of working solution

A fungicide called "Thanos" is classified as an effective drug used for the treatment and prevention of late blight and alternaria in various crops - sunflower, potatoes and tomatoes. It is also effective against lesions downy mildew of onion And mildew on grapes. The product is used for the primary treatment of plants at the stage of the appearance of the first leaves.

Composition and release form

The Thanos fungicide is produced in the form of granules that dissolve well in water. Produced in plastic containers, packaged in 400 g. The product consists of cymoxanil and famoxadone. The first substance is a strong contact preparation intended to get rid of Alternaria and late blight.

It is endowed with the ability to destroy disease spores by forming a protective layer that prevents re-infection.

Cymoxanil is a systemic-local drug used for preventive and therapeutic purposes. It also has protective properties, preventing the progression of the disease by accumulating in the soil.

How Thanos works

Cymoxanil is a substance that moves in a downward flow, so the fungicide is evenly distributed throughout the plant. This remedy can stop the development of the disease by encapsulating the affected plant cells.

The second substance, famoxadone, is able to penetrate under the skin of the leaves and linger in the waxy layer of the cuticle. Therefore, the drug is resistant to moisture.

To treat potatoes, sunflowers and tomatoes, dissolve 6 g of fungicide in water (10 l). To spray grapevines, take 4 g of product per 10 liters, and for onions - 12 g per 10 liters.

Grape

To prevent mildew, grapes are sprayed during the growing season. No more than 3 sprayings can be performed per season. The first application of the substance is preventive. Subsequent ones are carried out in the interval from 1 week to two. For 1 sq. m - 100 ml of solution, the consumption of 0.04 g of substance is provided. Its effect is designed for a period of about 1 month.

Potato

For 1 hectare, 6 g of the product is enough, which is dissolved in water (4 l). Treatment is carried out in the evening or morning, on windless, dry days, at least 2 hours before the start of rain. Up to 4 treatments with Thanos can be carried out per season.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are sprayed during the growing season. The first treatment is carried out when the rows close, the second - when the buds begin to ripen, the third - when flowering ends, the last - during the period of the appearance of a bountiful harvest. For 1 sq. m - 40 ml of solution.

Sunflower

Sunflower is also processed during the growing season. No more than 2 sprayings are allowed per season. The first is preventive, during the appearance of leaves. The next one is during the period of bud ripening. For 1 sq. m - 1 ml of solution.

Bulb onions

When spraying onions, only the feather is treated. Per season - 4 treatments. The first is preventative before flowering. The next treatments are after 10 days. For 1 sq. m - 40 ml of solution. Validity period: 2 weeks.

cucumbers

Number of treatments - up to 4. There should be at least 14 days between sprayings. To protect cucumbers as much as possible, Thanos fungicide is alternated with other similar products.

Cautions when working with Thanos

"Thanos" is a chemical hazard class 3 agent. When working with it, protective measures are the same as when working with other fungicides. Wear thick clothing with long sleeves, safety glasses, latex gloves, a respirator and closed shoes.

If a solution of any concentration comes into contact with the skin, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of water. If the solution gets into the eyes, they are also washed with clean running water. If the product gets inside, immediately drink several glasses of water with activated carbon (6-10 tablets).

In more severe cases, if vomiting or nausea occurs, call an ambulance immediately. In this case, it is necessary to provide the medical team with a label to accurately identify the drug that caused the poisoning of the body.

Toxicity

For bees and other beneficial insects, Thanos fungicide is moderately toxic. It is also not considered toxic to ponds and streams. Although, of course, you cannot pour the remaining substance into bodies of water.

Combination with other drugs

Before carrying out treatment and preventive measures, you must first determine whether the fungicide is compatible with other products. This is done to avoid loss of funds and harvest.The drug is not compatible with alkaline agents. "Thanos" is not used together with plant protection products that have a neutral or acidic reaction. It is compatible with Kurzat R, Titus, Karate, Aktara, VKG, Reglon Super, MKS and other drugs that have a similar composition.

Expiration date and storage rules

The drug can be stored in the manufacturer's packaging for up to 2 years if the temperature conditions range from 0 to 30 degrees. It must be kept in a dark, dry place out of reach of children. The prepared mixture can be stored for no more than 1 day. After this it cannot be used.
