Broad-spectrum insecticides that can kill several types of pests are used on many crops. Let's look at the composition, action, purpose of "Actofit", instructions for use, how to work with the solution correctly, dosage and consumption. Compatibility with other pesticides, shelf life, storage conditions and substitute preparations.

Active substance and formulation

Actofit contains 0.2% aversectin C (avermectins).Produced by the manufacturer in the form of an emulsion concentrate in 40 ml bags, 200 and 900 ml bottles and 4.5 liter plastic volume canisters. The concentrate is a transparent yellowish liquid of smooth consistency with a characteristic odor.

Principle of operation

Aversectin enters the body of insects when sprayed or together with eaten leaves treated with the solution. The effect of the compound on the nervous system is first stimulating and then depressing. 8-10 hours after spraying, insects stop feeding, their death occurs after 3-6 days. The protective effect of the drug lasts 3 weeks.

Expert:
Aversectin does not accumulate in the soil and decomposes into non-hazardous products. It does not cause addiction in insects; it is allowed to be used for several seasons in a row.

In what cases is it used?

"Aktofit" is used on a variety of vegetable and fruit crops, flowers grown in greenhouses and gardens, grapes, strawberries and hops, berries. On these crops, the insecticide destroys beetles, spider mites, aphids, thrips, white moths, cutworms of various types, silkworms, moths, leaf rollers, sawflies, codling moths, flower beetles, and weevils.

Instructions for use of the insecticide "Aktofit"

The product is used on plants when harmful insects appear. You can spray in sunny, dry weather, in the absence of wind; it is not advisable to do this early in the morning, during dew or in the evening. For the pesticide to work, the entire surface of the leaves must be thoroughly moistened with the solution.

Temperature at which Actofit works best: + 18 °C and above.Temperatures below this level reduce the effectiveness of the insecticide, and above this level it increases: after +28 °C and above, it is permissible to reduce the application rate by 25%, which will not affect the effectiveness.

The application rate and consumption depend on the type of plant and harmful insects (in l per ha):

  • potatoes from beetles - 4;
  • cucumbers in greenhouses and tomatoes from ticks and beetles - 4, from aphids - 8, from thrips - 10;
  • cabbage from whites and cutworms - 4, from aphids - 8;

Safety precautions when working with the drug

In terms of toxicity, Actofit is not dangerous for people, soil, or plants. It is necessary to limit exposure to bees for 1 day, as aversectin C may be toxic to them.

The insecticide solution does not irritate the skin and does not cause an allergic reaction, but you need to work with it with gloves, plastic goggles, and wear a respirator and thick clothing when spraying. During treatment, it is prohibited to smoke, drink, or eat any food.

After completing treatment with Actofit, clean clothes, wash face and hands with water.

If the solution gets on your skin, you should wash it; if it gets on your mucous membranes, wash them as well. If your condition worsens, you should immediately consult a doctor.

What is compatible with

"Actofit" is allowed to be combined with various fertilizers and growth-regulating drugs, with FOS insecticides, pyrethroids and fungicidal agents. Cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides.

If compatibility is not known, before combining them in one solution, you need to test: mix 50 ml of a solution of both products in a separate container. If they do not react with each other, there are no changes in the properties of the solution, then they are compatible.

Storage conditions and shelf life

"Aktofit" is stored for 2 years at temperatures from -20 ° C to +30 ° C, in a dry, shaded room. The concentrate must be in the original production packaging, with the lids tightly closed. The drug, which is stored in an open container, quickly loses its properties.

Contact with the product by children and animals is not allowed, nor should it be stored with food, feed or household products. As well as storing the prepared product diluted with water for longer than 6 hours - after this period the solution becomes ineffective. All residues must be poured onto an area not used for growing crops.

Analogues of the drug

Aversectin C is contained, as in Actofit, in agricultural products with insecticidal action: AltAlf and Fitoverm, produced in different formulations. The preparations are used to treat plants in fields and on private farms.

"Actofit" is an insecticide containing aversectin C as an active substance. It shows effectiveness at high positive temperatures, while its effectiveness does not decrease even when the consumption rate is reduced. When used correctly, it is non-toxic to treated crops, soil, animals, insects and people.The pests die 3-6 days after treatment; over the next 3 weeks they do not appear on the plants, which also happens thanks to Actofit. It is not addictive to harmful insects, for this reason it can be used for treatment for several years.
