The application of the insecticide occurs in two stages:
- First, the roots of young seedlings are treated before planting them in the ground. To do this, you need to prepare a mash. For a liter of such a solution of mushy consistency, 8 grams of granules will be required. Dissolve the specified amount of product in a small amount of water. After the drug has completely dissolved, add the remaining water and, gradually adding earth, continue to mix thoroughly until the solution acquires the consistency of a liquid slurry. Before planting seedlings, their roots are dipped into the prepared solution (pre-soaking is not required).
- The second stage begins 3 weeks after planting. The granules are scattered over the surface of the soil and by loosening the soil, the chemical is embedded to a depth of about 10 cm. Per 10 sq. meters of land use 50 grams of “Vallara”.
Safety measures and first aid
The insecticidal preparation for combating the larvae of soil pests “Vallar” belongs to the 3rd class of toxicity for humans. When working with a chemical, it is necessary to comply with basic safety requirements:
- use personal equipment - overalls or robe, rubber gloves, mask and headscarf or cap;
- restrict access of children and pets to the work site;
- To prepare mash, do not use containers in which food will be stored afterwards;
- do not smoke or drink during treatment, thereby limiting possible contact of hands with the face;
