According to the results of statistical studies, cucumbers have been occupying the leading position in terms of planting area among Russian gardeners for several years now. The demand for the plant is associated with its versatility in use, ease of care and productivity. Every year, the seed material is replenished with new varieties that are available for cultivation in the most difficult weather conditions. The Sister Alyonushka cucumber became one of the developments of the large seed producer Aelita Agro. For cucumbers of the Alyonushka variety, the conditions of protected film or greenhouse soil are acceptable.Provided the climate is suitable, the plant shows no less productivity in open ground. External characteristics of the plant and technical data of the cucumber:

- mid-season, cucumbers are ready for harvest 70-74 days after planting;

Cucumber Sister Alyonushka f1 was included in the State Register. The variety has been successfully zoned in several regions of Russia, subject to film cultivation conditions:

Description of external data and distinctive features of the fruit:
- short greenish, length up to 7.5 centimeters;
- oval, cylindrical shape;

- coarsely tuberous surface;

- green color with short stripes of a lighter color;

- weight does not exceed 98 grams;

The cucumber variety belongs to the universal type of use. The plant is used for pickling, twisting, and pickling. Fresh cucumber is an independent snack and an ingredient for salads.
Recommendations for growing the plant
There are two main ways to plant cucumbers:
- Rassadny. The best way to achieve high yields is to grow seedlings in a greenhouse. Preparatory work begins at the end of February or beginning of March. The first step before planting is to inspect the seed material. It should be treated in disinfecting solutions and hardened. Plastic cups, containers left over from sour cream or yogurt are suitable as containers. In the future, you can plant the plant directly in the container. Soil for sowing can be purchased ready-made or made independently. The planting depth of seed material is 1–2 centimeters.
The gardener should ensure the proper temperature in the room, from 25 to 27 degrees, subject to moderate lighting. Plant care measures include daily watering with warm water and loosening the soil after sprouts appear.
- Seedless method. The first step, as with the seedling method, is to select and process the seeds. An important factor is the temperature of the soil and environment. The earth should warm up to plus 15 degrees. Seed material is placed to a depth of 3–4 centimeters in the soil. Until the seedlings emerge, the plant is covered with film to protect it from frost.
Special attention is paid to the choice of location. It should be located on an elevated or level piece of land. The area should not be dry and receive sufficient sunlight. Sowing of cucumbers can be preceded by beans, onions, potatoes or tomatoes.
The originator recommends following a planting pattern of 50 x 30 centimeters.Subsequent measures for caring for cucumbers consist of timely watering and application of complex mineral fertilizers, removal of weeds and loosening of the soil. If necessary, the cucumber variety should be treated with insecticides. The procedure is carried out well in advance of the cucumber harvest.
