Pathogenic microflora that cause plant diseases cause a lot of trouble for the gardener. To protect them from fungi and bacteria, fungicides are used - drugs that prevent or stop the development of diseases on various garden and vegetable crops. There is no universal remedy suitable for all plants. Fungicide "Cabrio Top" is intended to protect grapes and tomatoes from fungal infections.
Composition and release form of "Cabrio Top"
The drug is used in summer cottages and in industrial viticulture. It is a two-component agent that acts on the surface of the plant (stems, leaves) and inside it, providing increased protection against fungal diseases.
“Cabrio Top” is produced in the form of water-dispersible granules (WDG), packaged in 20 gram bags or in 1 liter plastic containers. The packaging must contain information about the purpose of the drug, its composition and rules of use. As well as the release date, conditions and shelf life. The presence of 2 active components in the fungicide - pyraclostrobin and metiram - provides a complex action of the product, protection against infection and elimination of emerging foci of fungal infection.
Effect of the drug on pathogens
The presence of pyraclostrobin in the composition - 5 grams per 100 grams of fungicide, allows the drug to penetrate into plant tissue. This component spreads throughout the vine, penetrating all parts of the grapes, preventing the spread of fungus, destroying the pathogen.
The presence of metiram - 55 grams per 100 grams of the drug, provides surface protection. It blocks the development of lesions on the foliage and stems of the plant. The advantages of the drug include:
- convenient release form, the drug does not generate dust during the preparation of working solutions;
- long period of plant protection;
- high degree of tissue penetration;
- preventive and therapeutic purposes of use;
- The effectiveness of the fungicide does not decrease at high humidity;

A distinctive feature of the fungicide is its ability to accumulate in plant tissues and be released after the vine and grape leaves get wet.This ensures a longer and systemic effect of the drug and the possibility of treating the vineyard for preventive purposes.
Area of use
"Cabrio Top" is used for preventive purposes during the flowering period of grapes. The second treatment is carried out after 1.5-2 weeks. The complex action of the active substances of the fungicide allows it to protect the vineyard from various fungal infections:
- mildew;
- oidium;
- scab;
- Alternaria;
- many varieties of spots;
- powdery mildew.
Tomatoes are protected from Alternaria blight, late blight, septoria. For them, 2 treatments per season are enough, the first is carried out before flowering, the second - if the need arises.
Treatment allows you to protect grapes from diseases or stop the spread of the disease and save the harvest. The maximum number of sprayings is 3-4 per season. The last treatment is carried out no later than a month before harvest.
When processing very early and early grape varieties, it is necessary to take into account the timing of their ripening. Tomatoes are also processed during the flowering period.
Consumption rate
When preparing a solution for treating a vineyard, dissolve a 20-gram package of fungicide in 10 liters of water. When spraying large areas, a large package of product is required. For 1 square meter of vineyard, 100 grams of a working fungicide solution is sufficient. To spray tomatoes, 40 grams of working solution per square meter is enough.
Instructions for use "Cardio Top"
For spraying, it is necessary to prepare a working solution: 10 liters of water for every 20 grams of fungicide. The treatment is carried out during the flowering period, during the formation of the ovary.
The fungicide is diluted before spraying; do not store the prepared solution for more than a day. When preparing, 1/3 of the required water is mixed with the granules, the resulting suspension is stirred until the granules are completely dissolved, and then the remaining portion of liquid is added and thorough mixing is repeated. Treatment is not carried out in rainy or windy weather. Spraying is carried out in the early morning or evening, after sunset, or choose a cloudy day. After 2 years of use, the fungicide should be replaced with another with a similar effect to prevent the development of resistance.
Precautionary measures
Work is carried out in special clothing (a protective suit made of thick fabric); a respirator, rubber gloves and safety glasses are required. Wear rubber boots on your feet; do not tuck your trouser legs into them. The hair is protected with a special cap. Smoking and eating are prohibited while preparing the solution and spraying. After work, wash your face and hands thoroughly.
To prepare large volumes of working solutions of fungicides, it is necessary to equip a special platform. It is located away from residential buildings, barns and poultry houses. Pets must also be kept safe.
Fungicide toxicity
If the rules of use are followed, the drug is not phytotoxic and is not dangerous for bees. It has a hazard class 2 for humans (severe toxicity), so it should be stored and handled with caution.
Interaction with other drugs
It combines well in tank mixtures with insecticides, herbicides and other substances necessary for plants, however, before preparing a large volume of the mixture, the components are checked for compatibility.
Storage conditions, expiration dates
Store the drug in tightly closed original packaging, in a dry place protected from bright light, away from food and animal feed. The fungicide is used for 3 years from the date of manufacture.
