To prevent seed material from deteriorating during storage, special compounds called disinfectants are often used. They allow you not only to preserve seeds, preventing the appearance of mold and rot, but are able to protect them from many other diseases and ensure smooth germination. Composition and release form of the drug "Larimar"
This is a drug consisting of 2 active substances, belonging to the group of fungicides.It is produced in the form of a flowing concentrated suspension and is intended for treating grain seeds before sowing in order to protect them from various types of fungal and bacterial infections that may arise during storage.
Available in polymer canisters with a capacity of 5 liters. Contains thiabenzadol – 80 grams/liter, tebuconazole – 60 grams/liter. The container contains information about the patented name of the drug, its composition and the manufacturer’s recommendations for using the product.

Larimar is not only a protective pesticide, but also a curative fungicide. This tool has a number of advantages:

Mechanism of action
After treatment, the product begins to act outside and inside the seeds. Tibendazole blocks the process of cell division and affects the nuclei of cells. Tebuconazole stops the production of ergosterol and destroys the intercellular membranes of the pathogen. The complex effect of the drug components prevents the development of diseases and stops already manifested pathologies.
The long-term activity of the drug allows it to first disinfect the seed, and then, after germination, accumulate at the growth points, redistribute in the roots, stem and leaves of the plant, providing it with effective protection.
Instructions for use of the disinfectant
Seeds are treated with Larimar before storing or before planting.They must be dry and clean to ensure the effectiveness of the procedure. The seed material is slightly moistened beforehand. 10 liters of water per 1 ton of seeds is enough. This is done to ensure better adhesion of the product to the surface of the grains. The color indicator of the preparation shows the uniformity of application of the disinfectant.
Processing is carried out in dressing machines located on special sites, near which there are no residential buildings or livestock farms. Strangers, domestic and farm animals are not allowed on such a site. The working solution is prepared before work. To do this, a measured amount of concentrated product is mixed with a small amount of water with thorough mixing. The tank of the pickling machine is filled with water to 1/3 of the volume, the pickling mixture is poured into it and, continuing to stir, the volume is adjusted with water to the volume recommended by the manufacturer.
The concentration of the product should not be exceeded. It does not need to be used with other pesticides. Larimar is not used in tank mixtures. The drug is not phytotoxic, resistance to it does not develop.
Safety precautions
The compound has a hazard class 2 for humans (high toxicity).
Workers prepare the working solution and treat the seeds in protective suits, respirators, safety glasses or screens, rubber shoes and protective gloves. Smoking, eating or drinking is strictly prohibited during work.After work, the pickling machines are thoroughly washed to remove any remaining product.
Storage Features
The disinfectant is stored in rooms for storing agrochemical compounds. It must be in the original packaging with the lid tightly closed. The canister must contain the trade name of the drug, information about its purpose and rules of use.
Strangers and animals are not allowed into the warehouse where the product is located. It is equipped away from residential buildings and premises housing farm animals, as well as food or feed.
