Application of bee moth tincture and beneficial properties of the extract

Traditional medicine based on bee products is always popular. Thanks to the tincture of bee moth, it is possible to strengthen the immune system, improve the health of the body, cure or alleviate various diseases. Treatment with the drug should be taken seriously and do not skip drops. During the treatment course, the number of drops does not change.

What is a bee moth?

In beekeeping, wax moths of the moth family are considered a common pest. Feeding on wax, honey, and beebread, insects destroy honeycombs in hives and destroy insulating materials.

The pest also prevents bees from swarming, thereby destroying the possibility of their natural reproduction. Having grown to a size of 17-22 mm, the caterpillars stop eating wax and pupate.

Despite the danger to bees, the moth is completely harmless to humans. An alcoholic extract of larvae is in demand in folk medicine. The drug exhibits a wide range of actions (antibacterial, antiviral, strengthening, antioxidant).

Indications for use

The healing qualities of bee moth larvae extract have been known since ancient times. In Japanese manuscripts, the product was indicated as an important component of the elixir of youth. The medicinal qualities of the elixir were used in Ancient Greece in the treatment of male infertility. In modern medicine, beneficial properties are taken into account in the treatment of diseases in various areas:

  • pulmonology (bronchial asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia);
  • cardiology (myocardial infarction, heart defects, arrhythmias, tachycardia);
  • hematology (low hemoglobin, blood diseases);
  • pediatrics (anemia, growth and general development disorders, neuroses, weakened immunity).

The tincture extract is used for resorption of scar tissue, for the prevention of atherosclerosis, vegetative-vascular dystonia, and with a decrease in the body's defenses. The value of the drug also lies in its healing effect, positive effect on metabolic processes in the body, and reduction in cholesterol levels.

Cooking methods

Traditional medicine offers several recipes for creating tinctures. The main ingredient is the caterpillar. Moreover, it is not recommended to use larvae at the last stage of development, since this reduces the amount of the unique enzyme.

Recipe for preparing the tincture: place 5 g of developed larvae in a glass container and pour in 50 ml of ethyl alcohol (at least 70% strength). Keep the tincture for 8-10 days in a place protected from sunlight, at room temperature. Shake the tincture every day. The liquid is filtered before use.

To prepare the ointment, lightly pour 50 g of caterpillars with alcohol.

Infuse the mixture in a dark place for at least 5 days. Then add 200 g of St. John's wort and calendula oils to the container and mix. The mixture is supplemented with beeswax and propolis (50 g each), placed in a water bath and boiled for 2-2.5 hours. The product is filtered and cooled.

When preparing any preparation, you need to take into account that larvae are delicate and valuable biomaterial. Therefore, the mixtures are not subjected to strong heating so that the components do not lose their medicinal qualities.

Rules for receiving fire

It is recommended to drink the tincture prepared at home 25-30 minutes before meals. For adults, a single dose is 15-20 drops (2-3 times a day). Initially, drink 1/3 of the dose to assess the body's reaction (the full dose begins to be taken from the third day of the course). The duration of the treatment or prophylactic course is 2.5-3 weeks. If necessary, the course can be repeated after 7-10 days.

Expert:
Children can also use the tincture for medicinal or prophylactic purposes, previously diluted with water.

When calculating the dose, the age of the child must be taken into account. Children under 14 years of age are recommended to drink the tincture once a day before meals at the rate of 1 drop per 12 kg of weight.

Contraindications

When using bee moth tincture, you need to consider the possibility of an allergic reaction.It is known that honey is a strong allergen, so there is a possibility of a negative reaction of the body to any beekeeping products. It is important to take into account that the tincture is prepared with alcohol, and alcohol can cause an allergic reaction.

Also, pregnant women take the drug with caution (in the second half of the term). Since the drug lowers blood pressure, it is not recommended for hypotensive patients to take it for therapeutic or prophylactic purposes.

For regeneration, rejuvenation and treatment of the body, it is advisable to periodically take bee moth tincture. The healing qualities of the drug are best demonstrated for the restoration of organs and tissues of the body, as well as increasing anti-stress resistance.
