Before use, the cord should be set on fire on one side, extinguished and placed on a plywood backing. Then inject the drug into the lower entrance. If the hive has a hinged back wall, it is acceptable to place plywood at the back of the hive. Then it is advisable to close all the entrances for half an hour. After exposure, you can open them, pull out the plywood backing and check how much the cord has burned.
There is another option for using the substance. To do this, the cord should be placed in a triangular metal holder. Then you need to set it on fire from below, extinguish the fire and place the smoldering cord vertically. It should be located between the two central frames of the socket.
