Subtleties of cooking

Ingredients:
- peeled bell pepper - 6 kg;
- refined vegetable oil - 400 ml;
- water - 2 l;
- salt - 4 tbsp. l.;
- bay leaf - 5 pcs.;
- peppercorns (allspice) - 15 pcs.;
- table vinegar 9% - 250 ml.
Bring water, oil, spices, vinegar to a boil, place pieces of coarsely chopped pods into the marinade, and boil for 5 minutes. Arrange vegetables in jars, filling 3 quarters of the volume, add hot brine, roll up.
Without sterilization
You can prepare a couple of jars of winter snacks without sterilization very quickly. The preparatory work and the process itself will take no more than an hour.
Ingredients for marinade:
- water - 0.5 l;
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l.;
- salt - 0.5 tbsp. l.;
- table vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp. l.
Main ingredients:
- garlic (cloves) - 2 pcs.;
- pepper (sweet) - 6 pcs.
Cut the fruits prepared according to all the rules into 4-6 parts. Boil water in a saucepan and blanch the slices in it for 2 minutes. In another bowl, boil the marinade. Place the slices in clean jars, put garlic, cut into large pieces, into each. Pour boiling brine over everything and close the lids. Store the workpiece after it has cooled completely.
With apples without butter
It is better to take sweet and sour varieties of apples. The taste of the preparation will be more piquant. Any pepper will do, as long as it is ripe.
Ingredients:
- sweet pepper - 1 kg;
- apples - 1 kg;
- sugar - 1 tbsp;
- table vinegar 9% - 100 ml;
- water - 1.5 l.
Cut the pods into slices, apples into quarters, cutting out the seeds without peeling the skin. Blanch vegetables and fruits for 2-3 minutes in a boiling marinade (water, vinegar, sugar). After blanching, place them in a jar in layers, alternating the vegetable layer with a layer of apples, pour in brine, and seal with lids.
With honey and garlic
You will need 2 cans of 0.5 liters. They need to be washed and sterilized in the microwave or steamed. It will take an hour and a half to prepare the snack.
Ingredients:
- honey - 2 tbsp. l.;
- vegetable oil - 1 tsp;
- salt - 1 tsp;
- table vinegar 9% - 2 tbsp. l.;
- sweet pepper - 800 g;
- garlic cloves - 4 pcs.;
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
- paprika (ground) - 0.5 tsp;
- black pepper (peas) - 8 pcs.
Place the peppers cut into slices into jars and place peeled garlic cloves on top. Pour boiling water over the vegetables for 8-10 minutes twice, and the third time with the marinade brought to a boil. After the last filling, tighten the lids.
How much and how should I store it?
Winter vegetable preparations are best stored in the cellar. There is a constant temperature (0-5 °C) and air humidity. Cans of snacks do not explode in an apartment if the following rules are followed during storage:
- the room (pantry, closet) is dark;
- air temperature is constant;
- There are no heating devices nearby.
