- Planting in a pot is done when the seedlings are 5 cm high and have 2-4 true leaves. The volume of the pot is approximately 3-4 liters.
- A pot for planting tomatoes is filled with purchased soil or a mixture of soil from the site, humus, and wood ash in proportions of 3: 2: 0.5. Sand is added to lighten the soil. You can also add 10 grams of urea and potassium salt here. Drainage is arranged in the pot, soil is poured into it and the plant is planted.
- Watering the seedlings is carried out with settled water at room temperature at the root, as the top layer of soil dries. Don't flood! Frequent and abundant watering can ruin the plant.
Plants on the windowsill in winter must be illuminated with a fluorescent lamp or phytolamp. You also need to unwrap the pots every day.
