recommended for cultivation

  • Seeds begin to be sown in mid-February. If the seed material was collected with your own hands, before planting it should be disinfected with a pink solution of potassium permanganate and then washed with warm water.
  • In the phase of the first two leaves, the sprouts dive into separate pots or cups.
  • A week after picking, the plants are first fertilized with complex mineral fertilizers.
  • 7–10 days before planting in the ground, seedlings must undergo a hardening course. To do this, containers with young bushes are taken outside or onto the balcony, gradually increasing the walking time.
  • The time for planting seedlings depends on climatic conditions. It is important that the air in the greenhouse warms up to +16–18 degrees. Plants should be planted in open ground no earlier than the possibility of frost has passed.
  • Planting scheme - 2-3 bushes per 1 square. m, in greenhouses the density can be increased.
  • It is recommended to form bushes into two stems. They also need tying to avoid the stem breaking under the weight of the fruit.
  • Since the plant is heavily leafy, the lower leaves should be removed to normalize air circulation.
  • Tomatoes need to be watered, loosened and fertilized regularly.
