What to cook for the festive New Year's table?
Numerous recipes give you plenty of choice. Housewives know that they must prepare the main main courses. The main ingredients are meat in combination with sauces, spices, baked and fried.
Beef stewed with olives
For 500 grams of beef, a jar of black pitted olives. Cut the meat into pieces, add salt and pepper.
Lay out in layers:
- onion rings;
- meat;
- olives.
Keep on low heat for a couple of minutes with the lid on. Add salted water. Simmer for 1.5 hours.
Hungarian beef goulash
Cook the meat in small pieces over high heat. Gradually add onion half rings, carrot cubes, sweet pepper strips, paprika. Pour in hot water and boil. Salt, add potatoes, garlic, hot pepper. Cook over low heat.
Beef medallions with tangerines
Cut the tenderloin into medallions up to 5 millimeters.Squeeze some of the tangerine slices onto the meat preparations. Salt and pepper. Fry in one pan. After 5-7 minutes, turn the meat over and place the tangerines on it for another 5 minutes.
Pork tenderloin sous vide
The meat is cut into a large flat piece and soaked in a sauce of lemon juice, spices and salt prepared using a blender. Place the tenderloin in a bag and pump out the air. Cook in water at 55-65 degrees for 2-3 hours.
Pork with potatoes “Male whim”
Fry 600-700 grams of brisket until crisp. Salt, add basil. Close the lid. Add chopped potatoes and ghee. Add salt. Fry potatoes, reduce heat to low. Keep covered until ready. A wonderful dish for the Year of the Pig.
Steak with citrus sauce
Grill steak to desired doneness. Boil the orange juice and white wine in the same pan where you cooked the meat. Pour the prepared sauce over the steak.
Fried pork in tomato marinade
The meat is cut into portions.
Mix in a blender:
- onion;
- garlic cloves;
- tomato paste;
- dry wine;
- vinegar;
- salt;
- pepper.
The meat is combined with the marinade. Time for soaking: 3 hours (in the refrigerator). Fry covered for 5 minutes on each side.
Ratatouille
Cut blue zucchini, tomatoes, bell peppers into equal circles. Place the vegetables in an oiled frying pan, alternating in vertical layers.
Pour in diluted tomato paste with garlic and salt. Check readiness after half an hour.
Stuffed peppers with meat and mushrooms
Mix the rolled meat with the fried onion-mushroom mixture, add salt and pepper. Season with pepper. Place in a container, pour in salted tomato sour cream filling.Temperature – 180, time – 30 minutes.
Stuffed pike with champignons
Cut the pike along the ridge. Remove bones and entrails.
For minced meat:
- cook mushroom caps in white wine;
- boil cream with starch;
- add champignons, garlic, salt.
Stuff, seal the cut, apply sour cream on top. Bake at 180 degrees until done.
Red fish in creamy sauce
Place the fillet cut into pieces on a baking sheet and pour over the creamy sauce with spices and salt. Cook at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese shavings. Leave for 10 minutes.
Fish in French
Cut the fillet and place on the prepared baking sheet. Place in layers: fried champignons, onion rings, mayonnaise, grated cheese. Bake for half an hour at 180 degrees.
"Drunk" chicken
Ideal dish for New Year's menu. Coat the bird with a mixture of beer, spicy adjika, salt and place it on a container with at least 500 milliliters of dark beer. Place the carcass with beer in a cold oven on a baking sheet. Ready in 40-60 minutes. Temperature regime – 180 degrees.
Meat nests
Salt and pepper the minced meat with onions. Beat in the egg, roll into balls, make a cracker crust. Add salt to the onion-mushroom mixture, fried until half cooked, and place in the prepared cavities. Cover with grated cheese. Cook for half an hour at 180 degrees.
Duck with apples
Rub the bird with salt and dry herbs. Place apples and half a lemon in it. Place the carcass in a greased form. Cook covered at 200 degrees for 40 minutes, without a lid for 20.
Mackerel on a bed of vegetables
Drizzle a little oil onto the foil. Layer and add salt:
- carrots in circles;
- onion rings;
- potatoes and tomatoes in thin slices;
- sweet pepper into strips.
Place large pieces of fish on top of the vegetables. Cover with foil. Cooking time – 50 minutes at 180 degrees.
Salmon in white sauce
Cut 400 grams of salmon fillet into cubes.
Prepare the sauce:
- pour in the crème fraîche;
- add bouillon cube;
- juice of ½ lemon or lime;
- lemon or lime zest.
Boil the sauce and add the fish. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Lamb with tomato
Simmer onion, garlic, celery, bay leaf over low heat. Place lamb pieces on top. Add 2 tablespoons of paprika and coriander. Stir and fry. Add tomatoes in their own juice, tomato paste, sugar. Pour in water. Simmer for 1 hour.
Beef stew with mushrooms and prunes
Cut the beef into small pieces. Cut the mushrooms into 4 parts and fry with onion rings. Soak the prunes for an hour. Mix all ingredients together in a ratio of 1:0.5:0.1 (kilogram). Simmer with added oil over low heat for 60 minutes.
Meat in “Checkerboard” dough
Marinate 1.5 cm strips of pork tenderloin in a mixture of olive oil and spices. A layer of puff pastry on a greased sheet is cut into strips of 1.5 centimeters, with an indent of 1 centimeter from the edge. Strips of meat and dough alternate when laid out. Bake for 30 minutes.
Chicken in French
Grease a frying pan with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Lamb legs braised in the oven in a very tasty filling

Dutch roll with ham
Roll out the puff pastry dough into a layer of 3 millimeters. Layering:
- grated cheese;
- chopped ham;
- gherkin pieces;
- tomato slices;
- grated cheese.
