Cooking method
For cooking you will need small and elastic tomatoes. Marigolds must be picked fresh and young.

To do this, fill a small saucepan with cold water, cover the top with a special disk with a hole and place the jar upside down. After the water boils, let the jar sit for 3 minutes. - Carefully pierce each tomato with a toothpick. This will allow the air to escape carefully and the vegetable will not crack. Fill the container halfway with tomatoes. Put 1-2 marigold flowers, a little pepper, chopped garlic. There are approximately 10 tomatoes per liter jar.
- Boil water in a large container and fill each jar to the top. Let stand for 20 minutes.
- After the specified time has passed, cover the jar with a lid with holes and pour the contents into the pan. Remove water from all jars.
- Repeat the procedure again.
- Proceed to preparing the brine. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and one tablespoon of salt per liter of liquid.
- Bring the brine to a boil and wait until the crystals are completely dissolved.
- Pour one tablespoon of vinegar or one teaspoon of essence into the jar.
- Fill with brine to the top and cover with pre-boiled lids.
- Seal tightly.
- Allow to cool slowly under a warm blanket. Place the workpieces upside down.
How and for how long are the blanks stored?
If pickled tomatoes are sealed in full compliance with all preservation rules and sealed hermetically, then the shelf life is 2 years. Under nylon covers, tomatoes can be stored in the cold for six months. It is better to place them in the refrigerator or cellar.
Hermetically sealed tomatoes can be stored at room temperature. The main condition is that they should be located away from devices that emit heat.
